Elitist store . . . . I can walk to this store, they have a well curated collection of seasonal wares, clothing, and fun random items. BUT, shame on me for not driving there in my Audi, sans make-up and jewelry. This is a very elitist store. The sales clerk corrected me when I asked if a beautiful tumbler was glass or plastic. It was so thin I literally couldn’t determine. But I was corrected – “It’s glass, we have ACRYLIC items on the other side of the table.” But I persisted, I love their woven items – and wanted to purchase ONE for a small table. However, when I took it to the register, I got this - - “ You’re only buying one?” Yes, its for a small bistro table. Her response “Normally we only sell these in pairs.” Then she left the register, went to the table and counted the remaining items and said “There’s 15 here. That leaves me with an odd number. EVERYONE buys in pairs.” I thought, wow – you don’t want my money? Very uncomfortable shopping experience. So in summary, they have a great, beautiful collection.
