Ashley Store — Local services in Spirit Lake

My son will be moving into his own home this month & will need furniture, so I came from Florida to help. Although we haven't closed on the house yet, we thought we could look & see what he liked. My past experiences have had salespeople follow me all over the store, which only made it hard to choose what I might want & leaving without buying anything. When we came in this particular day, we were greeted by Fonda Bailey. She welcomed us, explained the sales, ask what we were in need of & left us alone to look. She came back later to check on us & see if we had any questions. She was EXTREMELY helpful. My son picked out some furniture & we ended paying for it the same day & set a delivery time. If all salespeople were as pleasant & helpful as Fonda, shopping would be a breeze!! We will definitely be back to purchase more with this awesome lady. Thank you Fonda!!

Extremely rude staff on the phone. Not just to me but my husband also. I don't do reviews unless they leave an impact good or bad. I can't believe you spend 4 grand on a bed and they treat you like garbage because its not something you loved once you got it. I could buy a car with that amount of money. I would never recommend anyone going to this place. Soiux city had much friendlier people and didnt make us feel bad for not liking our mattress after we purchased it. Its hard to love a mattress after laying on it for 10 minutes in a store. Maybe if these people hate their jobs and human beings so much, they should probably look into finding another place of employment. Because ultimately, you are going to lose business. We will drive the 2 hours to soiux city rather than the 30 minutes...

I had a fantastic experience at Ashley Furniture Store in Spirit Lake. When I called the day before explaining the type of couch I was looking for, I talked to Marcia. Over the phone, Marcia was friendly, offered many options to show us, and warmly invited us to visit the store. At the store, I was kindly greeted by Marcia who remembered our phone call. While she excitedly showed me options, she listened to my opinions and thoughts. To help with the final decision, it felt like a personal conversation where she offered her own opinions and advice to help.
