The Furniture Mart — Local services in Spirit Lake

My husband and I are new to the area so we spent the day browsing different furniture stores, antique shops, and consignment stores in the area. We are in the market for a desk and and a china hutch. Well, when we entered Furniture Mart we were immediately greeted with a friendly Hello by one of the managers on duty. Unfortunately, I forgot to write down her name.. but she was awesome. I'm trained in sales and she was the first person all day who actually asked us questions to help determine what we were looking for and how she could help. She immediately took us to a desk that fit all of our needs. It was thin, but big enough for two computer screens and even has drawers and looks very nice. The store doesn't have a hutch to fit our needs at this time, but we would definitely recommend at least trying this place out if you're looking for something specific for your home. They had some really awesome wall clocks and a patio furniture collection that we may come back and browse at a later date.

I bought a recliner here probably 3 months ago, it came broke and still is broke. They won't give me my cash back or even in store credit, they just say call customer service and all customer service says is we will get a service guy out to look at the chair so the guy comes i am not lying he flips the chair over looks at it was maybe here 15mins says he will order a part then come back and put it in my chair, when i asked how long it will take for the part he says 4-12 weeks so that will be 5-6 months my chair will be sitting broke when i bought it brand new. Everyone that comes into my house is like man that is a nice chair oh wait maybe not you can see it leaning to the right and after i say i have been to furniture mart 4 different times to talk to them about the chair and my wife has been there 1-2 times aswell and they won't do bathing. PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They have a large selection of furniture, but i myself would go to another furniture store so you don't get treated the way i got treated. I will never buy a piece of furniture or will i ever step foot in that...

My fiancé has bought furniture from Marcia for many years. We went in there looking for new living room furniture for a new home she showed us many styles, we were leaning more towards the sectional but still had to think about it. A few weeks later I’d gone back in with the measurements and unfortunately the sectional didn’t fit. She showed me a new living room set it was beautiful I loved it, it was delivered and the guys did a great job. As the living room furniture sat there for a few days and I looked at it it just was too big for the room, I called Mercia back and let her know,She said that was fine come in and will look for something else and exchange it , I remeasured the living room and went back to that sectional come to find out I had my numbers wrong so the sectional one out. Mercia did a wonderful job, making sure we were happy and everything went well .... Ken and I want to say we will be back thank you for all of your help and please tell both sets of deliver guys thank you for all there help!!! See you soon I have lots more...
