Owner is RUDE! I was running an hour behind schedule due to traffic delays from accidents. I communicated this with the auctioneer.
I Bought 4 arcades from a recent auction they had. I paid for the arcades via wire transfer and was told by the auctioneer to call 30 minutes before arrival and he would make sure somebody is there to let me in the building. I was Running behind one hour due to traffic jam and didn’t see his text messages. I don’t answer text messages while I drive. I had spotty service as well because I was driving through the mountains. As soon as I seen his message pop up I called him he said “we are leaving and you’re just gonna have to get a hotel and come back another time” I said I already paid and drove 5.5 hours and I’m only 1 hour away. My arrival was pushing around the 6 PM timeframe. I can’t control traffic jams due to accidents and my job is to drive safely and make it home safely to my family.
He replied “ well, my staff will say extra but you gonna have to pay them $50 cash each”.
I finally arrived and he was just as rude in person as he was on the phone.
Again, I reiterate, I cant control traffic delays due to accidents and I can’t move my truck any faster than safely legal.
Yes, i missed his text messages. But I can’t text and drive safely. The minute I look s up to the phone for GPS, I saw his nasty text messages threatening to leave dispute already having my money. He kept saying we’ve been here all day and we’re going home. Ok great and I’ve been on the road now for a total of 18 hours just to get my arcades.

I bought a restored skeet ball unit off the floor in mid restoration and it came out awesome! The pinball game I purchased (Terminator 2) had some issues with ball loss and lights which were serviced this within days. Also, I had a brand new arcade legends game lose power and it was a simple reset switch in the cabinet. All items work great under heavy use. Two techs came to my house and were excellent on the repairs and showed me tips on how to remedy any future issues.
Jay in the tech department (who was there on delivery to go over all the games) is top notch. He can help you through a diagnosis over email and actually helped me fix an issue (not quality related) through email, which is nice to have documentation for any future issues. Gene and Sherrie were great during the sales experience as well as the service.
I saw the negative reviews before I bought, but once I saw things for myself personally and worked with M&P, I would give them 6 stars if I could.
As a note to all, and a person who grew up in the 80's playing these machines, it is best to go into this purchase knowing that there will be issues. My favorite games at the local bowling alley ALWAYS seemed to have issues back in the day. If you are patient, knowledgeable and work with M&P service, you should be able to resolve any issues. I found this company to be very responsive during and after the sale. The air hockey table arrived in good condition due to the care they took in packaging the freight item. The air hockey table originally purchased ended up having an issue that was caught during the M&P Amusement refurbish process, and left very little time to receive the item before an event deadline. M&P Amusement offered a higher price-point air hockey table for a small difference in the original price paid to keep timelines and budget intact. This was a stand-up move by a merchant who wanted us to have a good experience with their company and their product, and they stepped up by taking a hit to their margin to see the transaction through.
I’ve communicated with M&P Amusement several times after-the-sale with questions and seeking some advice with troubleshooting a problem of my own creation. I’ve received timely support from their technicians each time with them going above and beyond to assist me.
