I shop there because it’s close but the fresh seafood is sold after it expires so make sure to check the date!!! I have forgotten to check twice now and each time I got it home and went to cook it something was wrong. The shrimp is obviously refrozen if it’s bad when it thaws at home and stinks up the fridge. Today’s prize was slimy catfish filet. It expired 2 days ago, bought yesterday, and thrown out after they were glued in their own slime to the styrofoam container they’re in. I returned bread a few days ago because it wasn’t even baked the whole way through and the cashier’s response was “well nobody else returned it”. 😂 So not the point. Kennie's market is a few blocks from where we live so for convenience I go there for some things. I don't do a full grocery cart because their prices are higher then say Giants, or Weiss. The store just remodeled the inside and now they also have a place where you can sit and have a couple drinks and eat if you wish. I personally don't care for a lot of their home made salads, & you pay higher for their fresh produce which spoils pretty fast after you bring it home. I do try to use the special coupons they send to our home for a months worth of savings. If you have a separate freezer it is worth buying the sale items. They're very willing to help you there and very pleasant to you each and every time. Store...

I was at Kennies in Spring Grove yesterday morning for about 1/2 hours. Within that time span I saw a minimum of 3 customers walking around the store without masks on. On the first occasion, I asked a cashier to notify management to have management asked the person to put on a mask. On the second occasion, I stopped at customer service to ask them what they were doing about customers without masks. And on the 3rd occasion, I looked at the cashier from my first complaint, threw up my hands and left the store. It was clear to me at that point that store personnel were unable or unwilling to protect my safety and look after my best interest. For a local store, personnel really does not seem to care about...
