I rarely leave reviews, but I absolutely must share my fantastic experience with Dr. Dalton and her team. They are simply amazing—patient, transparent, and honest. After seeking a third opinion on a treatment plan, I came across Dr. Dalton, and wow, what a difference!

My original dentist, whom I had been seeing for two years, provided a treatment plan with an out-of-pocket cost of $796.00 and no estimated insurance coverage. Feeling uneasy about the expense, I asked their front desk assistant to verify the insurance coverage and share the plan via email.

To my surprise, I discovered that they were charging me for an "onlay-porcel/ceram-3 surface" (coded D2643) for a tooth that only required a simple filling. Seeking further clarity, I went for not just one but two additional opinions, which led me to Dr. Dalton. She took a look at my tooth and said, "Oh, you have a little area that is creating a food catch; we can just fill it." The result? An out-of-pocket cost of just $81.

This experience left me deeply disappointed, as I had trusted my previous dentist's expertise and recommendations for the past two years, only to realize that I had been misled about the treatment I needed. I had high hopes when calling to make initial appointments for my husband and me. The reviews led us to this dental practice, along with the fact we live in Woodson’s Reserve. I was informed after giving our information to Rachel, that since we are self pay, we would be required to purchase a ‘package’. The package was $350 per person for a normal cleaning, x-rays and exam. If I remember correctly, this was for 2 cleanings a year. X-rays could not be declined. Well, I did not book appointments as I felt we were not wanted as patients because we did not carry dental insurance. Many people ‘our age’ (we are retired senior citizens) don’t carry dental insurance as it rarely ends up being worth it. We can more than afford any dental expenses we might incur; I simply did not want to be forced into buying a package. (If I didn’t buy the package, the cost was even more.). Also, I have been offered a discount by 2 other dental specialists when I informed them I was self pay. I thought that was a very professional gesture on their part.
