[Preface: I am an employee] I love this place so much. I have been working here since August, and genuinely food is great (I eat there every day). The workers always aim to do better than their best and our managers will accept no less. Every meal is made fresh daily (except for the soups, they are reheated), and we really value food quality. A few tips to optimize your experience at this location: If you really like the crackers like me -order takeout if you want a side soup and a chicken salad scoup. Every scoop comes with 8 crackers (+4 if you order a side soup) buut a side of soup goes in a small take out box with 8 more crackers. IF YOU GET A SCOOP AND A SIDE, MAKE IT A "CHICK" OR "TRIO". It saves you a lot of money. Ask for an assorted silverware packet, it comes with the perfect amount of salt and pepper to make your chicken salad even better. TO GET THE MOST CHICKEN SALAD AND YOUR SIDE FOR FREE. Whether you want a scoop and a side or two scoops and a side, you can get more chicken salad by putting one of the scoops on a croissant. Scoops by themselves have to look perfect and be delicately placed on a fresh piece of lettuce but sandwiches just have to have about the right amount on it meaning that the line cooks often just put more in the sandwich because it doesn't have to look as pretty. As for your side (unless you want more crackers), get it dine-in and ask for a takeout tray, the side cups used for dine in are larger than the food compartments of a takeout tray. I can't stress this enough, ASK THE PERSON TAKING YOUR ORDER TO MAKE WHATEVER NOTE YOU WANT! IF YOU ASK FOR IT, WE WILL MAKE IT SO. Seriously, as long is we have it, we will do whatever you want. Want extra crackers?? As long as you ask, those line cooks will PILE them on there. The other day a lady walked in and ordered sweet tea with just a shot of unsweet tea. Just stopped by your Cafe off Riley Fuzzel today for lunch. I was very hungry. I looked at the wall menu. Very nicely done. Same for your to-go menu. Everything looked good on the menu. I mean everything. I saw y'all had a small cold case with your salads in them to go. I got down to look at them. They all looked fresh & you could see the small chunks of fruits etc. I checked the prepared date, it was made that morning. Can't get much fresher then that. I grabbed a tub of the Fancy Nancy as it had caught my eye on the menu. They threw in 15/20 small packs of 2 dinner type crackers that were crisp & tasty. ( I'm a cracker freak, & that was a nice touch, enough to finish the container completely) The service was fast & the counter people were very happy, another plus there. Everything was exceptionally clean too. I got home & immediately made a big ol'sandwhich! Hey now, those first few bites were very tasty! My friend was trying some with the crackers. We both finished and we immediately made 2 more sandwiches! I'm now eating another as a evening snack. I will be going back to try your other recipes for sure Stacy. I just tried chicken salad recently so it’s my new obsession. I went to this location for my 2nd visit and it was amazing. I placed an order on the phone, and I was greeted by the kindest and most patient lady ever. Once I arrived to the location, I was greeted instantly and the place looked very neat. There was a young man behind the cashier who was very delightful to talk to, he asked me how I was, I asked him how he was, then he gave me my order and told me to have a good day. Amazing. I got home and was so excited to eat my chicken salad chick. My scoop was not perfect but that was because of my driving, I just know that the scoop was beautiful before I got into the car, but I got the sassy Scotty and Oh. My. Gosh. Literally life changing. Who ever made this chicken salad today at this location, I’m so grateful. I got the grape salad as my side which is also an Oh. My. Gosh. I also got the loaded potato soup. This place knows what they’re doing. I am very satisfied with the location and the business overall. I love chicken...
