I never post reviews, but I feel like I owe it to these animals to do so. I felt absolutely terrible leaving this place, crying my eyes out. All the animals are kept in horrible conditions and tiny, inhumane enclosures. Every single animal I looked at was extremely stressed out and showing signs of depression and anxiety. Not to mention a beta fish was being kept in a tiny mason jar on the counter as decoration. I wanted to give him the home he deserved so bad but I didn’t want to give a cent of money to this business. Extremely disgusting to treat living animals with such disrespect. Just imagine if humans were kept in small cages like that, you would call it torture, but a small, defenseless animal who didn’t ask for this life is being given the same fate. I’m just so upset that people like this with such little knowledge or compassion are allowed to obtain these animals. Shame on Columbus farmers market for allowing this to happen....

Listen, to all the animal lovers out there writing 1 star reviews over the conditions of the live animals here. I have a feeling you don't understand what Columbus market is or how things work there. Thursday to Sunday those animals are brought in and sold off. They don't live there for months and years, is not a place like that. The rats are all in little tanks that weekend, they're bred and sold off for feed. Sure you can buy one, take it home and love it as a friend, we have 3 from there our snake didn't eat and they got too big. But if you don't understand what you're talking about, please don't write bad reviews. There are regulations to follow legally and this store meets or exceeds those requirements. Sure, have a heart, but also have a brain. I shop there every week for my snake, bought my snake from them and...

If I could give no stars I would ! Item had two different prices - I asked for the lower one since it was MARKED on the actual item ! I was accused of marking it lower myself ! The manager said if he watched the video tape surveillance he was sure he would see someone putting their own price tag on it ! Lol! How many people carry a orange sticker around with a printed tag in their pocket ? This manager was disrespectful and rude ! I never write reviews but this time I had to! Save your money and spend it somewhere else where they value their customers! I plan on sharing my horrible experience with as many people...
