I had high hopes for this childrenās second-hand store, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The selection of clothing lacked quality brands, and much of what I saw felt worn out rather than gently used. The sales floor was overcrowded and hard to navigate, making it stressful to shopāespecially with kids in tow and stroller. Most concerning, however, was the overwhelming use of plug-in air fresheners throughout the store. These fragrances contain chemicals that are known hormone disruptors and endocrine-disrupting chemicals--which can pose risks to both children and mother. It felt especially inappropriate to encounter them in a space meant for families I almost immediately started getting a migraine and had to walk out. While I appreciate the idea of offering affordable second-hand items for kids, I hope the store takes steps to improve both the quality of its inventory and the safety of its shopping environment including have a clear path for strollers free of garment racks blocking the walkways and a ramp coming from the concrete porch into the shop- although easier than when it was upstairs! I can't go again sadly-- **UPDATE BASED ON OWNER'S CONFRONTATIONAL REPLY TO "FUTURE CUSTOMERS" It is my opinion it was hard to navigate- customers are allowed to have opinions. I call all stores that do not sell new items "Second hand" stores- it is no slight to your "Curated Boutique" It is FACT the store had many items that were not high end brand names and if they were were very worn out/ faded at the time of my visit. It is FACT that the space from the entry door to porch is high thus is difficult to lift a stroller up into and the porch had clothing racks blocking the walkway coming from the ramp from rear parking lot. It is FACT they had very very very strong smelling plug in air fresheners plugged in. If the owner would like to refute any of these I would love customers to hear --or simply, like most owners would do in reply to a 2 star review, offer a brief word like " Sorry you had this experience and we are always working to improve" or something of that nature. Not confrontational and aggressive. Not a good look and a way to earn customer trust...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI always find something for my daughter (6) at Little Palm! Pictured is a recent (April 2025) haul for spring/summer. Though itās a small shop, LP does a great job stocking higher quality items. Some favorite finds include Rothschild winter coats, a Hanna Andersson swimsuit, an Ivy City Co dress, and lots of other good quality pieces like Crewcuts and Gap at reasonable prices.
LP also has a points program, which gets discounts after a certain amount spent, and is a really easy place to drop off and earn some money for nicer-quality clothes your kid has outgrown. So nice to have such a great resale shop nearby!
The parking lot is small, but I usually have no problem finding a spot...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur family is so happy to have Little Palm in our neighborhood. They have an excellent variety of high quality items, both new and used, for kids of all ages and sizes. This includes clothes and baby gear. They even carry some adult clothing in name brands. Having the opportunity to trade in our gently worn childrenās clothing for store credit or cash back is also wonderful. It gives their outgrown clothes a new life, and helps us purchase new clothing to keep up with our ever-growing kids! The owner is friendly, communicative, and very helpful, as is her staff. The store is also clean and well-organized, with lots of new items every time I shop. I highly recommend...
