Fort Washington State Park is a multi-sectional park connected by county park lands allowing for the continuous hiking of the Green Ribbon Preserve Trail. The Flourtown Area features a ballfield with lots of picnic tables, a volleyball court and a modern bathroom. There is also a picnic pavilion with two grills. Behind the pavilion is a nature trail. Beyond the ballfield you'll see a sign indicating a wetland project is under way (see picture). This is a hiking trail only. The Wissahickon Creek is stocked with trout in the spring.
