Fort Washington State Park is a multi-sectional park connected by county park lands allowing for the continuous hiking of the Green Ribbon Preserve Trail. The Flourtown Area features a ballfield with lots of picnic tables, a volleyball court and a modern bathroom. There is also a picnic pavilion with two grills. Behind the pavilion is a nature trail. Beyond the ballfield you'll see a sign indicating a wetland project is under way (see picture). This is a hiking trail only. The Wissahickon Creek is stocked with trout in the spring. Fish for carp, catfish and panfish in summer. For more information: pa parks and forests Watch the you tube video (title slide is...

This looks like a small place, but it has ample parking, 50 picnic tables, grills, a beach volleyball court, a kickball field, a few pavilions, and indoor bathrooms. Washington State Park / Green Ribbon Trails. Good for a family walk, run, or...

But I will take the trail one or twice a year amongst...

Been coming here for years w varied areas to park and visit this Fort Washington State park, Green ribbon trail. Follows Wissahicken Creek with many scenic overlooks. Bikes, runners, walking a or without dog on varied stone or paved paths, the day use area has a covered pavilion, bathroom, baseball area, picnic benches, and charcoal bbq grills.

Great fall day with 48 family and friends. Great job with limited resources state park people. Social distance. Mask wearing for protection of others, understood. Clean restrooms. Path with cart, to move things to and fro. Grills upgraded. Nice.
