Posted this review on yelp today, thought I’d spread the word over to google.
So this is why I'm done with the WaWa all together...
On the evening of February 19th of 2018 I went to the location in Flourtown, PA on my way home. I had a long day and simply wanted a quick bite to eat. Instead of getting some greasy junk food, I figured why not one of those awesome hoagies from the WaWa. Hmph, was I wrong!
What upset me the most was not the fact that there was way too much mayonnaise on my sandwich, or that my bacon was missing from my sandwich, but it was the sad, soggy, pathetic excuse for lettuce that was placed on my sandwich!
The last thing I remember was typing in the WaWa site to leave a negative review on my smartphone, which was in my left hand, while throwing away the other half of the saddest, most disappointing sandwich I've ever had, which was in my right hand.
The next day I received an email from the WaWa apologizing for my bad experience and offering me a five dollar gift card for my inconvenience. I was still upset, but at least the company was attempting to make me feel a little better by offering to replace my sandwich. Well, at least five dollars worth .
Today is June 26, 2018. I still am waiting for this five dollar gift card from the WaWa to arrive...
For those who think this is not true, how could this be, etc., I am including pictures of the emails back and forth from the WaWa and myself, where they ask me to send my address repeatedly so they can get me my gift card right away . I've also included some photos of my sad little hoagie, so you know I tell no lies!
Who knows, maybe after I move to my new apt in a month, the letter will finally arrive to my old address and I will need to update that address once again so that I may continue to wait for that...
Read moreI love Wawa!!! This Wawa has been pretty busy the last 2 or 3 visits. Yesterday there were over 10 people in line, 1 cashier, 3-4 people working in the deli (2-3 customers waiting in the deli) 1 person stocking the floor and 1 manager standing around about to get off work, and didn't jump on a register. Really? About a 3-4 minute wait in line for iced tea. Cashier customer service is always very good, but they need to bump up the overall customer service. Today, no lids in the 32 oz soda section, that was labeled 32 oz lids. I asked an employee, and another customer asked another employee. The male employee went over and pulled a lid from an unmarked lid holder and gave it to the customer, without saying a word, like we were idiots for not using the UNLABELED lid holder. Hey, fill the lids in the labeled one, and be nice!...
Read moreTerrible Wawa. I can't really hold it against the store, but the parking lot is overcrowded and not conducive at all to a Wawa. Trying to find a spot is a nightmare. But what I can hold against the store is just really poor management. I went in to get a coffee today and first, I find out they are out of Splenda. How in the world does a place known for coffee run out of Splenda? That's like a KFC running out of chicken. So I put in a different sweetener only to think find out they're out of regular cream. They have milk and light cream, but no regular. Seriously, that is just terrible. Maybe pull in someone new to run things and hold a class on inventory over site.
