Great little neighborhood market! During this quarantine when I couldn't find toilet paper or paper towels, they had it! They didn't Jack the prices up either! The owners are super sweet and most of the employees are really nice, friendly, and helpful! This is just a nice neighborhood store to go to that offers options like baby supplies, snacks, ice cream, frozen meats, frozen juices, baking supplies, plastic cups, canned and boxed cat food, cat litter, dog food, napkins, little cheap toys, headphones, sewing kits, cheap fake nails, envelopes, stamps, lots of frozen foods, fresh food options, tv dinners, ready made sandwiches, canned foods, boxed meals, canned meals, cereal, breads, paper goods like tp and paper towels, disposable eating utensils, sodas, milks, eggs, butter, different cheeses, candy, different selections of beer, first aid supplies, over the counter medicines, cake mixes and desserts, cigarettes and tobacco, and a daily selection of hot foods and fountain drinks! For a little store they have a lot! Perfect for if you don't want to run to a bigger store or if you don't want to brave the crowds and getting sick! Employees typically are wearing gloves and most of then wear a mask! Social distancing of 6 feet is enforced within the store and markings along the floors! They also accept cans and bottles, you can redeem 24 cans/bottles a day or per shift. They take credit, debit, cash, and even WIC! My mom and I have been going to Bungalow market for over 22+ years, ever since I was a child! This is a family establishment and a community staple for our neighborhood here! Whether you stop for snacks on your way to float down the river from Day Island Park, or you go get baby formula at 10pm for your baby, Bungalow Market supports our community! They are usually open until 11pm every day, even during quarantine! Unlike Dari Mart which has slashed it's hours and cut it's employees hours, Bungalow has continued to support their employees and stay open for...
Read moreLeft a 5 star review before, updating it as it seems ownership has changed. The guy who works there now is really nice, and I have no issues during the day. However, I donât personally feel you can tell your customers what type of payment they need at night. I get counting a till is annoying, but it literally takes a few minutes. I am frustrated I canât purchase anything there at night without a card. Even lottery which is cash only! If you have a contract with state of Oregon lottery, you need to be selling lottery tickets until close. The guy who âdoesnât feel like counting cashâ lost my business as of tonight and I will be checking in with Oregon state lottery tomorrow to let them know about me being denied multiple times sale of scratch off tickets when they arenât closed and I am of age. Tonight it was half an hour until they closed and all I wanted was $10 worth. If you truly canât add $10 to your already counted register amountâŚ. Thatâs bad. I wonât...
Read moreThe Bungalow Market on E Street in Springfield was one of the last "neighborhood markets" with the wooden floors and old time feel in the way it was run with reasonable prices and friendly customer service. I'm sad to say it seems to have changed to more closely resemble Everyone's Market in how it is run. Even the floors are plastic. Sale prices don't get registered, and I'm not sure they are even scanning things in. I've noticed that they manually enter prices and sales don't get included. No receipt was given. Watch your bottom line and know what it should be before you check out. Sad to say, it's a past memory for me now and I won't be stopping...
