Maudie's Coin Laundry — Local services in Springfield

I use this laundry mat frequently and never had much problems. I spend a decent chunk here. I try to support local businesses. I always get stuff from the vending machine and do my laundry and respectful to the establishment. Although I will say their arcades are a scam. I've never seen no one win nothing. Just eats up the kids money. So August my son left his skate board here. The next time we came the lady said yes there is a skate board back there but I dont have the key. So the next time my son asked the next lady she said it didn't come across her desk and she would of saw it if it did. And I asked today's lady and she called the lady and she confirmed no. I truly believe they spun us until the period they have for unclaimed stuff and someone who works here took it home to their kids. I will be taking my money elsewhere which sucks for mr dons too usually go to grab a bite to eat there when Im here. Back to rainbow...

I would give the staff 5 Stars. But the Business is getting 2 Stars. The new dryers are a Rip Off. You only get 4 minutes for each 25 cents. And if you let the dryer stop before adding more coins, you lose a whole minute, so now you have minutes per 25 cents. And once the dryers Stop the heat level settings return to Low. So if you aren't paying attention your clothes aren't drying. Some of the washers don't spend the water out completely, the clothes are dripping wet. I spend more money drying my clothes then washing them. The Old dryers gave more time and the Settings stayed were you left them. I know they were getting old and some didn't heat at all, but at least you got more drying time for your money and you didn't lose a minute overtime the Dryers Stopped. I'm Hoping Santa Brings Me a Washer and Dryer so I can put the $30 a month on something better than...

A great clean establishment for getting your laundry done. Lots of dryers and washers. No extractor for getting more of the water out of the clothes before going into the dryer. The dryers usually dry in under a buck for a normal size load of laundry. They have dry cleaning available ( that is outsourced ) also you can your drop laundry off and have them do it. They have a small vending machine for a cold drink or a snack.They have a vending for soap products if you forget yours or need extras. Cost varies with the washer you chose, dryer is 25 cents. There is no card its quarters only ( bonus in my opinion ). The only downfall I see a lot in here is a lot of their machines seem to be out of...
