Man, I've been at this store for a couple of years and the OG crew was the best. I hate to say but, these new guys are clowns 🤡.
I've rented and never returned a defaulted on any item I've leased from them until recently. When the old crew was there, if they did not have an item in stock, they'd find a way to obtain it for you, especially if you're one of their good customers. These guy do not know what they're talking about when it comes to their PC's. They'd know who I am by reading this. I literally went to pick up a PC (Ryzen 7 CPU, RTX 4060 GPU, 32GB of RAM), I signed the agreement and brought it home after waiting for it to be reset because a previous customer rented that rig and I had to wait for it to be resented (which normally takes a few hours at most, depending on the amount of data), I brought this thing home and got stuck on the bios screen and they swear up and down that we changed or altered something when in fact you for the first time gave me a garbage PC that a customer obviously returned for a reason. I'm not liable for installing windows, your site clearly states it comes with windows 11, so how is it my job to have a bootable USB on deck in order for me to do your job? They're rude as all hell. Have this Okey done attitude and have no idea what they're talking about.... like RAM upgrade or replacement being a reason to have to reset an entire PC lol. I build these as a past time, I'm trying to take the express route for a family member so that he can have one now, rather than waiting for me to get all the parts and build him a fresh one (which at this point I would rather do). I was going to close the account but I'm switching my store to something closer and where their employees are not rude. I order another PC last night, I'm told their Pittsfield store would have the PC I ordered and now I get a simple "no, that one is for another customer", I ask if there is another or something equivalent to that and I also get, "No, we don't, nope". They do not care about their actual customers.
Previous crew before these clowns were actually great people, had great customer service and actually cared about their customers opinion or would find a way to meet their customer in the middle at best. Please get rid of that crew, cause you're well on your way to losing more customers at that store.
I'm done with that store officially. Rude employees, horrible service. They don't bother on testing products like PC's before bringing it to customers or when we go and pick it up. If you're still willing to shop with these bozos, do your self the favor and have them boot up a PC all the to the Windows menu with a guest account at the very least. One guy there is nice but he's not the one we're usually speaking to when we call. We also had a washer and dryer from there, it broke down and they were whining about repairing it even though we pay for a protecting plan, she never asked for them to remove it before it was paid and can you believe these bozos removed the plan and almost had her pay for the repairs even though she was still paying that off?
I've been nicer than my aunt, cause she goes off and now I see why she does, cause they're a damn circus of clowns in that store.
I'd recommend you switch your store to another if you're experiencing these problems. Don't deal with the main st store, save yourself from dealing with the passive aggressive nonsense.

Read moreI have been at the main st location for over 2 years I have rented numerous items from this location and never had a issue never had a payment issue I was always respected and when I wasn’t my voice was heard and apologies were given I rencently had a issue where I was a week or two late and I called in that’s when I had to deal with the district manager Kurt and found out the store manager left I told him my situation and he didn’t care he was very rude even hung up on me that’s when I physically went to the store where he was even more rude I told him my paycheck issue he told me well I have a business to run and I said I get that I’m sorry I told him look at my account this is the second time in two years I was late he didn’t care I told him I can wait for a court date if you would like but it would take him longer to get the date vs me paying what’s owed and that’s when he told me hey if I are just planning to steal the stuff that’s on me I just wouldn’t be able to ever rent from any rent a center again I looked at him in shock said first I have done nothing but communicate and secondly I’m standing in front of you trying to work out payment he said that doesn't matter he has had numerous people do the same and how they did nothing but steal so unfair to compare me to others Kurt is the most rude judge mental person I ever came across couple days later I got a call I didn’t answer got a voice mail it was Angelo so I called him back he listened to me I had told him my issues and the issues that I was having he listened he worked with me and my accounts got paid and back on track Angelo is probably one of the best managers I have yet to come across he listens he doesn’t judge he gives you the benefit of the doubt when in need he is the reason I continued to do business with rent a center especially after how bad Kurt treated me I have paid off accounts sense Angelo became manager I even got new items because Angelo listens and he goes above and beyond for his customers with out a ounce of complaining he’s respectful and he even checks in to make sure you are happy with the product as long as Angelo is the store manger I will continue to do business with rent a center if he ever leaves so will I because I don’t wanna ever cross paths with the district manager Kurt ever again he’s mean and judgmental and all he cares about is business doesn’t care...

Overpriced items that you can get brand new for half of what they want in the long term a 55 inch tv for almost $1000.00 brand new at Walmart for $250.00. Do yourself a favor and just go without for a few months and buy brand new. The amount of money you pay overtime you would’ve gotten that item 4 times over. Nothing they say holds water every time they quote a price it changes. Left the store expecting one price changed on delivery.
