This business changes the prices of their items WHILE you are walking around the store with them.
Whether the item is marked with a price sticker or not, on a table with a price sign or just verbally priced by the owner or an employee, the price will increase by the time you reach the register. I have shopped at this greenhouse over the years quite a few times and this happens every single time we are there.
Ex. I pick up a potted monstera plant during the annual plant sale which was advertised as “every single plant on sale.” When I get to the register, the business owner decides this particular plant is not on sale because “it’s too popular right now, so it’s full price.”
Ex. I pick up hanging multiple flower plants from around the shop for 27.99 and put them at the register. Owner is unloading more plants from a truck out front and unloading identical hanging flower plants, we find one we want to switch out. He says “let them know up front these are $30 now instead of $27” even know they’re the same exact flower pot.
Ex. I shop around the store and create box of assorted houseplants to buy, including a few higher priced string of pearl and string of turtle plants. By the time I made it to the front, the owner increased the prices of these plants by multiple dollars for no reason at all other than to gouge the price and get more money out of customers hoping we wouldn’t notice.
It’s like they see plants gaining popularity before their own eyes so they try to squeeze a few more bucks out of you. It’s shameless and gross and immoral. I’ll spend my money...

I asked for a pic because this was an expensive, (281$ ) custom order that I would not be able to see in person but wanted to see how it turned out. And have always asked for this, especially when I learned my mom and others have been sent dead floral plants and flowers . Also, others sent embarrassing misrepresentations of what was ordered.(Not Schaffitzel)
Was told they could not send picture because they did not have a company cell phone. Then with a quick sorry, hung up on. That was an irresponsible and insulting excuse for lack of basic customer service. The picture could be taken from any phone or digital camera, copied and pasted into an email. Also it is such a very minor expense adding a cell phone line to a company account that is 100% based on visuals. Or easy for arranger to send pic to company email. This establishment has great quality plants and a large selection. So much to pick from and great staff very knowledgeable and big in customer service. Would recommend this place.
My only issue has been at the register. I was checked out my first time and they accidentally charged me for extra plants due to having started to check someone out and forgot to clear them. My money was refunded and it was caught by the lady checking me out asap.
My second time I went in and purchased $82.70 worth of plants and was charged $827.02, my receipt stated $82.70 so I thought nothing if it. It wasn’t unlit I was home later that day that I looked at my bank about and realize I was missing $744. Due to this error I have been waiting for my money for 4 days and have been late to pay my car note, electric. The error was addressed and refunded but that doesn’t fix my late bills and almost $800 I’m waiting on...
