This place absolutely sucks. Just another predatory company placed conveniently in the poor parts of town. I used to work here and can honestly say I would never recommend Rent To Own anything. You will end up paying 3x the amount. This business is extremely aggressive when it comes to collections and trying to get payment. The owner and Vice President are total jokes. Former store manager Mike is a joke as well. Not very professional to threaten to pull your CCW on a customer because they threw a range at you. Even more ridiculous to show up at someone’s house at 9PM. On a side note to anyone reading this. Should you disregard what I’m saying you actually won’t get in trouble for just “keeping” the merchandise. In Ohio it’s a civil matter and the police cannot do anything to you. I was in need of a laptop temporarily to for my son to complete his school work until I was able to buy him one in a couple weeks. I told her I didn't need anything fancy because AGAIN I explained this was only temporary. I was told it was $14.99 a week for the cheapest basic one. I said great and that I would be right there to pay for a week. When I arrived I was then told by someone else that I had to pay for a month. I told them that's not what I was told on the phone and that I wasn't even going to keep it for a month so why would I pay for longer than I was planning to keep it? Then the man in there says I can give him my money for the week and he can try to get it approved and let me know in a day or two....hmmm that sounds like a crook to me!! I went in Wednesday to rent a tv stand and 2 TVs. Delivered them Friday. The new tv quit working Saturday and came out to look at it. Was told they were getting more TVs in Monday and would bring me a new one out as soon as they arrive. It is 7:07pm and I am still waiting. Called them at 1:00pm to see when bringing it and was told between 3 to 5 PM. I called them again at 5:19pm to see when coming. I asked to speak to the manager but was busy. Told them I wanted him to call me back. I was told delivery was on it's way. Called again at 6:30pm to see where he was at. Was told they would call him and get a time frame. Still waiting to hear back. While on the phone with them I received a restricted call, I am guessing it was the manager after knowing I was on phone with them and wouldn't answer. This is very unacceptable service and disappointed in them. This will be last time...
