PHARMACY REVIEW ONLY! I love Walgreens and am a frequent shopper there. I went to pick up my son’s medication from this location this evening. The lady at the front was AMAZING and super helpful. When about to check out, she asked for my ID. Unfortunately for me I left my wallet at home and was using Apple Pay so I did not have my ID. I advised her that I’ve never been asked for my ID before so I did not know I was going to need it. I heard her ask the pharmacist and he said it was a controlled substance so we would have to have an ID. She asked him if they would accept a picture today which think goodness they did! I already felt stupid for forgetting my wallet and it was a hassle. I simply told them that I had never been asked for my ID prior to this interaction (I initially said he’s been on it for a year but it’s not consistent we get it on a monthly basis because he doesn’t take his ADHD meds daily so we don’t need it as often) anyways, the pharmacist himself never came over to the desk but proceeded to stand in the back and say “well I don’t believe that, but you have to have it”— GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO MAKE A DIG AT A CUSTOMER. Accusing me of lying. I have ZERO reason to lie. If I’ve had to show my ID the past 4-5 times I’ve come to get this Medication, WHY would I attempt to get it without my ID?? Make it make sense. Point is he essentially called me a liar in front of several customers and a couple of staff. I’m not sure why he decided to question my integrity, but he did. It’s unfortunate but I will be switching. I think it’s important to remember that even though customer service is hard and we are all allowed to have bad days that we should still treat people with kindness and respect. It’s truly...
Read moreThree different incidences. 1. I called to ask about the price of a certain medication. The woman told me it would cost $73.00. The medication only costs $5.00. 2. A girl told me if I applied for a credit card that I would receive $25 toward my purchase. Which would make it free that day. I never received any $25 off or got my purchase free. I feel like she just wanted my personal information. I don't need a credit card at Walgreens. 3. New Years Day I go to pick up some meds thinking it was the 2nd day of January. The cashier was very rude with me. She wouldn't answer any of my questions. She was telling me about other stores being open 24 hours today. I can't change where my medicines go. A doctor has to do that after requesting. I repeated my question and she never answered. A man walks in so I ask him was today the 1rst or 2nd and she interupts and starts talking to him. She continues to interupt me and that guy's...
Read moreI understand theft is high but please try not to make it so obvious you are watching your customers. I came in there for a 2 specific items as it is more convenient then going to Walmart. When I was looking for my first item, it was obvious I was being watched. I left that aisle, and I went to find the other item I came in there for, as I do not need an audience while I am looking for aspirin. I guess lesson learned, I will go to walmart...
