After reading other reviews, I have been anxiously awaiting to find this theatre open. Was pleasantly surprised to find the theatre open for business today for Venom 2. I have gone to a couple of movies this year and mostly traveling over forty miles just to get to them. Having only the one screen, this was actually the nicest theatre I have visited since moving to Louisiana. It was clean, friendly staff, sound system was on par with those along the west coast, the popcorn was enjoyable. The only issue was soda tasted a little off or flat but it was not mine so did not bother me … lol… I can not say that I had enjoyable experiences at the other more commercialized locations. No glitzy run-way lights or neon banners to indicate upcoming films, but, hey! This theatre is not in a Metropolitan area! This is an awesome little theatre that is, above all... CLEAN and well kept. It gives us from the hill a trendy thing to do on the weekends and also offers free movies on Tuesdays during the summer..pretty special place...also locally owned and operated since being restored!
