I came in with my best friend. We walked in chatting and started complimenting the store in all the the cute jewelry. It was all locked behind a cabinet so I waited at the front desk where there was 2 works a young woman and an old man. The older man sat on his phone and the young women sat and counted pieces of paper or some other none urgent task. After waiting for over 3 minutes I said in a sweet customer service voice "excuse me can I see these rings please?" Without even looking at me she says "PLESE" as if she was my mother. I was rather taken aback and said please to her still in a kind voice. She pulls out the rings and start trying them on. The whole time the rings are out this man is staring at me making me feel very uncomfortable and as if he had already written me off as a thief. I pull my friend over to ask for her opinion and he stands up and tells me that i had to leave the ring up front. I would like to add the ring was 16 dollars which isnt that much but which I understand he does want people stealing but the tone and speed of his voice made me again feel guilty even though I was just looking. After that whole thing I felt very uncomfortable coming back up to the front and left the ring with them because I have no interest in giving this company any money after the way they treated me. I was greeted with annoyance and hostility and for those reasons I...
Read moreThis isn’t too bad of a vintage and antique facility. The reason I’m not giving it a 5 star is because alot of the pricing here is high. I’m not going to say on this review what items are high, but I seen many items that wouldn’t be that high at other vintage stores.
There are two separate buildings on this compound, I’m sure there is a reason for two separate but exact in size buildings. The north building has, I’m assuming a married couple that are strange in the way that they are friendly….. and also, stern in a way. They seem to treat the place as if you are walking into their living room. Again, they seem friendly enough to do business with.
The south building has a couple women working and they seem helpful.
The one thing I would actually complain about is they have allowed some of the vendors to sell modern electronics. I also don’t feel there is a place in a vintage and antique store to sell reproduction pieces. I seen many of those in both...
Read moreThis is such a dreamy and wonderful place. The prices are great and my daughter's vintage Peter Pan-themed room looks fantastic thanks to Treasure's Antique Mall. So many unique and gorgeous finds! Thank you for protecting your patrons and employees (many of which are elderly/high-risk). These negative reviews because of mask policies are so sad. I for one want to support local business AND protect vulnerable people by wearing a mask while shopping. I watched Covid-19 rob my loved one of a good death and several years of family time, I had to say goodbye through video chat. No kisses or hugs goodbye. Our ancestors sacrificed much more for one another and wearing a mask is the least we can do. Leaving a negative review for a local business that provides so much value, over mask requirements you don't agree with, is petty and damaging to our communities. Thank you, Treasures Antique Mall. I look forward to coming back...
