Verizon — Local services in Spruce Pine

Went in to cancel service about an hour before closing. Clerk was nice but not the most helpful. All I got was I had to complete it online or call customer service. (He wasnt wrong here, he just didnt go above and beyond to help, maybe limited on what he can provide).

I told him I tried that as well as the online chat but I couldn't remember my pin nor could I receive a text to verify it was me.

He suggested I go to Marion because his facility doesnt do cancellations but Marion or Ashville can or Corporate. (This is where I was baffled).

Anyways, Marion location was able to do an on-site verification and had customer service call me to cancel. Marion was in my opinion, absolute problem solvers with a great manager (5 Stars to Marion!). I wish Spruce Pine was more...

So, new to the area. Needing to chnage SIM cards from verizon note 8 to pixel 6 pro. One staff was attempting to be helpful and identified that I needed a 5g sim card. She located one. The other woman(who was too occupied with chomping on her gum), said that I can just take my old sim card and put it in the new phone. Even though the old sim was not 5g.

My phone, that I'm still paying on and purchased thru the Marion store, stopped working. We went into the spruce pine store hoping it could be fixed, it couldn't. The manager was so helpful. We ended up purchasing new phones, he helped us out with the best options, explained everything thoroughly, but wasn't "pushy" we had stopped going to that store because of the manager a couple years ago. Now we'll definitely be using that...
