Mike did an awesome job on my leg piece. I brought him my idea and he turned it into a reality! Shop is very chill, clean, and good vibes. This place is a hidden gem and I am so pleased with my experience. If you’re local, then why drive out of the way to be put on a waitlist or be told there are no spaces left at whatever popular shop your friend got his tattoo at? At Llama Ink, the whole process was done so smoothly and I felt clean and relaxed in the shop. I’m surprised that I was not forced to wait months to get a tattoo and I was able to get in rather quickly. For artwork and an experience like this, it’s worth the drive, the wait, and the peace of mind knowing that your going to get Mike’s exceptional artwork along with his steady hand to create your masterpiece. Service here matches that and, in my opinion, outperforms the more popular and well known shops. If Llama Ink was located in a more populated area or busy city, I believe it would be making headlines or magazine covers for their work and for their customer satisfaction. I love this place i am new-ish to the area and had been following them on instagram for a while. I saw some flash art they had posted for the gem and mineral show and couldn't stop thinking about one of the pieces so I booked an appointment. The place has a really cool vibe and has really superior standards as far as cleanliness and hygiene goes. My artist Kimber who created the flash was super great and so was the other woman (Az?) Not only was I impressed with Kimber's skill and attention to detail and dot shading but how seriously she took even a flash tattoo. I also observed some walk in clients and how the other woman (Az? This place is the greatest. My mother and daughter came to Bakersville for vacation. We decided a spur of the moment matching “mountain” tattoo. Arrived and was promptly greeted by everyone. Super friendly and easy to talk to staff. Kimber did all of the tattoos and did such a great job navigating everything we wanted in the tattoo. She did a top tier job and we are so happy with them.
