This pharmacy is the absolute worst. If I could give no stars I would. The only reason I moved my scripts here is because my insurance won't let me fill at CVS anymore. I can't view my prescriptions in the Walgreens app, was advised to call the customer service line. At CVS, that never happened. They took care of everything on their own, as pharmacies should & notified me upon pick up of any changes. Called the customer service line and they couldn't figure it out either. It took 3 address updates. THREE. It took 3 times of me updating my address from an address I haven't lived at in 7 years for my correct address to be saved. 0W0hich caused problems when picking up because their only verification of identity is your address. I've lost count of how many times I get an email about my prescription being ready, go in a few days later for pick up and it's not ready. Last time this happened the woman next to me had the same issue and she complained this was the THIRD time she came to pick up the same prescription and it wasn't ready! She said she hadn't taken her medication for 2 months because of this problem. She couldn't drive & was only able to pick up once a month! Recently, I was notified my prescription was ready for pick up but the email sited an extremely escalated price. So I called to inquire about the drastic price increase. Was told that my insurance wouldn't cover the cost. SO I asked what insurance was being used...it was in invalid insurance that hasn't been used in SEVEN YEARS! I haven't used that insurance in SEVEN years! So why was my monthly prescription suddenly sent through this insurance? The tech apologized for the problem & said they have to resubmit the prescription through my correct insurance, it'll be ready for pickup tomorrow. Here it is, tomorrow & I'm told that my pills are out of stock not until the end of this month but the end of NEXT MONTH!!! What am I supposed to do!? not take my pills because my pharmacy is incompetent?! Unbelievable. My pills were ready for pick up yesterday but they had to be re-shelfed because some moron decided to put my pills through on an outdated insurance company instead of the insurance that was updated less than 6 months ago & my pills were given to someone else. You ever get a phone call from a friend you love where you hear that person say to you âI was afraid when I handed them my bag if I moved the wrong way that theyâd shoot me.â I got that phone call today from Wesley Dozier.
Wesley has diabetes and has scarring issues from his insulin pump and went to a Walgreens to pick up ALOE VERA to try and help with this issue. He asked for help from a person and instead they called the police. He had to hand over his bag to be searched and they found NOTHING. The manager was a white woman who profiled Wesley as person who had been coming with a group of people that had stolen stuff. There is no evidence to support this. When asked to investigate those tapes to show any validity to those claims, the police were suddenly too busy. Not busy enough to say Wesley was barred from that Walgreens. He was told if he went back heâd be arrested for trespassing. Wesley still has committed no crime. When defending himself, he made mention how he committed no crime and was confused as to why he was being barred the police officer stated âif you had committed a crime, youâd be getting arrested right now.â So please can someone tell me why my friend got BANNED from a Walgreens when he did NOTHING WRONG.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY THIS HAPPENED?
Is shopping while black a crime in America? It will be if we continue to support businesses that damage relationships with our community.
He was embarrassed. He was threatened. He was scared. He lost his freedom to shop freely and we can not let this happen to him.
I posted the location of the Walgreens this happened at. Please boycott this walgreens, call the store and complain, call corporate and demand action.

This Walgreens location provides "The Best Possible Customer Service Ever" from both the Pharmacy employees, as well as, the employees in all sections of the store. I have been using this "WALGREENS LOCATION ONLY", since the store opened many years ago. I visit this Walgreens so often (about 3 times per week) that the workers in the Pharmacy have become good friends in a professional atmosphere. They go above and beyond to serve the customer to perfection. All of the employees go out of their way to serve and above the call of duty. Elvira the Pharmacy manager PharmD, does not only have an excellent education from a top notch College, but she also has an awesome, kind, respectful, friendly and professional personality and attitude. She, as well as, every employee in the Pharmacy are ALWAYS more than willing to help me out. They are all trained, educated, kind, helpful, professional and willing to go above and beyond. I believe that all who work in the Pharmacy are acctually a reflection of Elvira (PharmD) Pharmacy Manager and have carried on and picked up all of her professional and ethical ways. All of the Pharmacy workers including PHARMACISTS and Pharmacy Technicians also go above and beyond for the Pharmacy customers.
