This business shipped my order to the billing address even though my order confirmation had the correct shipping address. I have no idea why or how this happened except to say the person who works there (Mark?) appears to be arrogantly ignorant and audaciously obstinate which is a dangerous combination of tomfoolery and simpleton. They ignored my email when I tried to contact them about their mistake, lied to the agencies I tried to get involved to get them to respond and correct with no evidence to support their lies, and then tried to gaslight me by saying they blocked me because of how I spoke to them (the incompetent Mark) when I only called and spoke to someone the day I got the USPS notice saying it was delivered to this wrong address. Yes, after my emails went unanswered and my phone calls not answered, when I actually was able to get through (I've got 3 cell phones you smug jerk) they had to acknowledge the mistake because it was there in their own writing. And instead of owning it and apologizing they tried to deflect about irrelevant delays to the timeline and jumped to if I wanted my money back. I'm not sure why this Mark was so hostile over his mistake but I said no I would like my order sent to the shipping address that I submitted and that's in the confirmation. This liar said that they would send another order but after three days without a new confirmation and updated tracking number I emailed again to no response. It was only after I began filing disputes and complaints did they make up these lies that I'd given them that address (where is the evidence Mark) and basically outright refuse to engage.
Thank goodness PayPal finally credited me today but this business is a sham and a scam. The individual responding to emails and phone call is highly unprofessional and anyone interested in ordering should avoid at all cost. There are a lot of options online that are professional and respectable and in 2024 no one should accept these types of shenanigans. This place will mess up your order. Not respond to your emails or phone calls about it. Lie when official disputes and complaints are filed. Then try to gaslight you all while keeping your money and no product delivered to the right place.
Proceed at your own risk.
(They also appear to have more than 1 Google page which is how I originally missed these reviews before placing an order but seeing the comebacks to other customers should tell everyone what they need to know about this kind of place. I will say this in advance because I see the pattern now. They can go and search me then write whatever they want about me. I will not be intimidated. I cannot be intimidated. Customers, write to BBB, the attorney general of Missouri, whatever it takes to get a record that this is really a bad business. If only they would spend as much energy into being a solid, reputable business as they do "clapping back" at customers, they could probably be marginally decent. Anyone who orders after reading these borderline testimonials will deserve what they get).
RESPONSE TO OWNER:
Your response is truly what I wanted and needed so that your unprofessional trollship could be on full display for all the readers. I see you didn't dispute my facts. That's smart of you because libel is real, honey.
Bless your heart. How sorry I feel for you that English reads to you like buzzwords. What you've actually encountered here is someone who has many degrees including one from that Ivy League. I know not everyone grows up with great education but common sense is free. See dear, the $$ amount never mattered. I make more money in 1 day than you do in an entire week of sales. What did matter is principle, truth and accountability. The 5 minutes it took me to call you cost more of my time than what you had to refund me because of your actions. Let's not forget why we are here, ma'am.
Thankfully, I'm a pretty good baker and when I have the time, I highly enjoy doing it for my family during the holidays. But my time is money, so it is easier for me to pay you...
Read moreSummer time weather affects food in general, you donât have to own a business to know this. If shipping items that contain eggs and fruit, it is important to ensure the product is properly wrapped. An ice pack with foil wrap is not sufficient when shipping from Missouri to IllinoisâŚeven with priority shipping and receiving the item in two days. My first order was not received for five days (after a delay with USPS.) When I received the order, it smelled moldy and tasted bad. I shipped using normal shipping, not the expedited shipping that the manager told me I should have used. Mark told me, â Weâre sorry that you didnât purchase express shipping as we recommend (1-2 day guaranteed) during checkout but we appreciate your business!â I decided the same day I received my order that was bad to throw it away and try again. I was willing to give the company a second chance. In fact, Iâm shocked that I received this review as I communicated my unhappiness with my first order sharing my concern about shipping and my moldy cake and I didnât receive information to submit for my first purchase review. I advised the gentleman who told me he was the store manager the cake was bad and moldy. He told me the cake was fine. On this order, I ordered a pineapple upside down cake as well as a pineapple pound cake. I was excited to receive both orders and giving the company a second chance relinquishing my experience from the first order that arrived days after being in the heat end traveling from Missouri to Illinois. I believe that customer service is important and when a customer gives you feedback regarding a product you should be open to receive the information not be combative, even if itâs not what you want to hear. I was excited to receive what I believe to be an amazing cake! My expectations were high but my experience was disappointing. If I could give a suggestion I would say please look into a better way to safely secure your product with possibly dry ice to savor the beautiful product you display on your website and in the Google search. (My packaged traveled from Missouri to Tulsa, Oklahoma to Tennessee then to Illinois! Shipped August 23td and arrived August 27th,) Please note: this was my personal experience and may not be for others. I believe in second chances and I really wanted things to be different the second time around. (Being open to change your packaging could make a world of difference when shipping hundreds of miles away.) I read several reviews after my purchase and Iâm proud to see that you are not a believer of luck and you feel your business is doing well. I also pray that you take to heart the issues your customers have informed you of and work to rectify them rather than neglect to address the issues. It is my hope and my prayer that others receive better customer service than I and that you understand itâs ok to be wrong.(A picture of my cake after a five day trip in the heat. Yes, a small cold pack was added with some foil wrapping, but not enough for proper travel or the weather.) *And, Mark, know Iâm not looking for anything from my review, just words to advise you that my experience was not one I wish for any other customer. âAll the best with your business and future customers.â (The cake was moldyâŚsmelled and tasted it.) Again, itâs unfortunate that you believe otherwise. Please stop! I received my cake this way and my husband and I both saw and smelled...

When adding an item to your cart, there are some wordy options to either expedite the shipping, pickup locally, or no rush. I selected the expedited option so that it could ship as soon as possible, which meant "next day." The next option is to "Select The Date You Want It Delivered On". In my case, I placed the order early Monday morning, added the $5 to expedite, and indicated the date of Tuesday (next day) to have it delivered. Once you add the item to your cart, you're provided with another list of options for shipping. I selected Priority (1-3 business day delivery).
The order was shipped Tuesday evening at 11pm. USPS in St. Louis had the package in their possession from July 9th at 11pm through July 12th 7:48 am at which time it finally departed. The package sat in St. Louis for 2 full business days, the time it was supposed to take to deliver. This package was going from St. Louis to Mississippi, exactly 300 miles or a 4.5 hour drive, but somehow this package is now in the state of Georgia?
I have attempted to correspond privately with Creative Sweet Treats, and was responded with zero professionalism. I indicated this cake was for a dear coworker of mine for their birthday, and their response to me was "You waited until the last minute and now behave as though you are the only customer we have and the only person who matters to us. Your dear coworker clearly did not matter to you as much as you have stated." Yikes, hard blow.
In addition to that, this company looked me up on LinkedIn and said that I was "too young to understand" anything about shipping because they looked at the year in which I received my bachelor's degree. (I've been employed with one of the largest transportation companies in the world for the past 16 years, but okay).
Finally, Mark told me that "The way we heat seal/air tight ship your cake it lasts 7-10 days without ice packs and 2-3 days longer with ice packs, so your cake will be completely edible upon arrival." However, if you scroll down a couple of 1 star reviews, you will see Mark respond that "your cake did include the cold pack, but those could not possibly last 3 days in transit... not even dry ice would last that long". Let's also take into account the extreme heat between St. Louis and Mississippi, ranging from 85 to 100 degrees while this perishable item is moving across our country.
When I asked for a refund of $72 (cake + priority + cold pack), I was responded with all of the reasons why I, the consumer, am wrong, and why Creative Sweet Treats did everything right. In all honesty, up to the point of shipping, they did everything right. They shipped the item when they said it would ship. But then it sat for 2 days in St. Louis and is now moving outside of it's normal transit (Georgia is nowhere in the path of Missouri to Mississippi), and Creative Sweets is doing nothing to make this experience any better.
This was a $72 lesson to read reviews before purchasing...
