Ordered a part for my Samsung stove on 11/18/2024. Don’s appliance was given the original part and the model number of the stove when the order was placed for the new part. I was told initially the part wouldn’t take over a month to arrive however, the dates kept getting pushed back. I was told there was no inventory for the part and that there was nothing they could do. I waited patiently and was fine with waiting. The part finally arrived on 03/10/2025 and it’s the incorrect part (after almost 4 months)! I immediately drive the part back with the original part from my stove. I spoke with someone in parts and he stated “you’ll have to go get me the model number” and I said the model number should be on my ticket from my purchase over 4 months ago. He stated “it’s not.” So I told him I was going to drive and get it and come right back. I get back to the store and they closed everything at 5:20pm when the store hours are until 6pm. The voicemail they left me today confirmed they are open until 6pm as well. This is such a poorly run business with terrible customer service. They made no attempts to expedite the correct part. They didn’t even make sure they ordered the correct part when they had the correct model number and part in front of them! This business will never be a place of recommendation for anyone I know. Set up an appointment to repair my dishwasher, as they were the number one recommended company by my home warranty company. Don’s appliance never showed. We call and they claim that we were not on their list of service calls today. I inquire further and provide the exact date and time I called to set the appointment and the circumstances of our situation. Then they claim they don’t do home warranty repairs anymore. To which I asked why would they set up the appointment in the first place?!?! They had no answer. They claim the technician probably canceled the appointment. I asked why they wouldn’t call to inform us that it had been canceled?! Don’s states they probably informed our home warranty company and they should have called us. Are you kidding me?!?! At this point, with no warning, they put someone else on the phone to explain the same stupid information to me again. Then he says he will check for paperwork. Read moreWe bought a brand new washer and dryer of August 2020. We used it once and washer was not draining called dons and they said all we do is deliver. I said no I paid for delivery and set up. Now two years later the washer stopped spinning. They said they came over and looked at our washer. Never called us or left us any indication what was wrong. I had to call them and see what was going on. They said it was the transmission and would cost about $600 to fix. They would not stand behind it. They advised us to call GE. GE said they would give us the part for free just needed to pay labor and to have Dons call them with part number. We called Dons several times to check status, always another excuse. It doesn’t help when you call and the receptionist laughs at you!! They do not want to help us because they can’t jack up the price of the part.
