I went to the Go Alpine website to book a couple pick up and return trips for incoming guests, this was on December 23rd. When inputting my home address it did not return any results, which I thought odd, so I called them to inquire as to why but was on hold for 30+ minutes. Given it was around the holidays I just assumed they were understaffed and insanely busy (like most of us) and decided to book my reservations with one of their default locations provided in town. I called back on December 24th and was fortunately able to connect with an agent who informed me they would not deliver to my address, which is why it appeared as “location not found” in their reservation system. No big deal I thought, and went ahead and cancelled. When I checked my credit card statement I could see that I was not provided a full refund. I called GoAlpine and was able to speak to Sam. Sam was not able to help me due to their cancellation policy, which she informs me I should have read. I asked to speak to a manager, whereupon, Sam informed me that she was a manager and still would not be able to help me and insisted I should have read the cancellation policy. The interaction was not pleasant nor polite. Now I’m being charged $100 for the cancellation. Might I suggest that your reservation system be updated to show that “we do not deliver to this address” instead of “address not found” to prevent this from happening in the future.

We requested a shuttle service from Denver to Steamboat, since our flight had been canceled due to weather and the receptionist was very pleasant, and we were able to schedule the pick up time and place. We were informed at the established pick up time that the driver would be 30 minutes late due to the weather, which is understandable. Several times and several passengers complained about the cold temperature in the shuttle, only to have the driver angrily respond that there were only two settings: on or off and then proceeded to patronize us " and you guys want to go skiing tomorrow?" when he knew all our heavy ski gear was in the luggage compartment. If the heater was defective, we shouldn't have been on the shuttle in that weather, and his bad attitude only made it worse. It was so cold that the condensation on the windows, froze. I'm attaching a picture for reference.

DO NOT USE! The driver was extremely slow at driving and what was supposed to be a 3 1/2 hour drive to the Denver airport turned into 6 hours. The back door opened and the luggage fell out of the back of the shuttle. The driver kept pulling over and stopping. Weather and traffic was fine the entire route. This was a driver who had no regard for the 20 people needing to catch their flights on this shuttle. Missed our flight because of GO Alpine with no other option for the day. UPDATE: based on Go Alpines reply to this review, I emailed SAMANTHA on 1/6/22. I’m still waiting for a response. Don’t believe there replies to the bad reviews as they are just trying to make themselves look responsible for their actions. Again, DO NOT USE!!!

I very rarely if ever write reviews but… This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with in my life!!!! People need to be warned!!! Do not use this company or any of the other company names they do business under!!! This company was at one time, the BEST taxi/shuttle service in northwest colorado. Since the new owners took over last year…That is no longer the case. They are horrible!!!

No matter what name they decide to do business under, Go Alpine, Co West, Steamboat Shuttle Service, (these names are only a cover for their bad reviews), they are horrible! If you are looking for reliable transportation in Steamboat, you won’t get it here! Not only do they treat their customers with absolute unprofessional behavior, they also treat their employees like disposable chew toys.

They were once an organized, professional, prompt and riable transportation company. Now, due to extremely poor management, they are the worst transportation company by far!!! They leave people stranded…they just take your money and don’t show up!!! They are rude, they have little or no office professionals for customer assistance, they won’t even take the time to answer the phone or return messages. When they do answer, it’s usually by someone that’s obviously on drugs, and can’t even communicate. They even allow CDL drivers that have failed drug tests and continues using to continue driving, putting lives in danger! They take credit card payments and don’t provide the service promised!!!

Do you yourself a favor…DO NOT USE this company or Co West, or Steamboat Shuttle for your taxi/shuttle service!!! They will ruin your vacation!!! They will ruin your day!!! They will NOT provide the service promised. They will leave you and your family stranded in freezing cold weather…they do not care about their customers. They...

DO NOT USE - Left us stranded after a scheduled pickup!

My girlfriend and I called Go Alpine on 10/21 to get a ride from downtown Steamboat up to the Strawberry Park Hot Springs for the night, and then wanted a pickup the following morning to bring us back to town. It was snowy and the roads were bad, so we were happy that the driver made it the 7 miles up to the springs. We had scheduled a pickup with the dispatcher for the next morning at 10AM, but when the time came, no taxi. The springs have no cell service, but when we asked to borrow their landline to make a call, a man at Go Alpine answered and told us that they would not be picking us up because the roads were too bad. He said that they never should have made the pickup reservation in the first place, and that a mistake had been made. When I told him that we were stranded up there and had now way to get back as we were relying on their ride, he did briefly say that he would send someone up there to get us even though he shouldn’t, since they had made a mistake. However, after he talked with the springs manager, we were told he would not be sending someone up because the springs would not accept liability if their taxi was damaged or went off the road (Of course not - why would the springs accept this liability anyway?)

We were left stranded up at the springs, with no ride, no cell service, and our only option was to walk the 7 miles back into town, down the twisty, windy dirt road in freezing temperatures through the snow. When we finally got back into service, we had no call, no voicemail from Go Alpine letting us know that they weren’t coming.

Horrible service, DO NOT use this company if you need a dependable ride in...

Untrustworthy, unprofessional, and unethical. While leaving dozens of passengers with confirmed reservations at the airport waiting for hours due to alleged driver shortages, this company rudely snapped at customers trying to ask questions about alternate options, and—worst of all—continued to sell tickets to shuttle services they could not provide. The unprofessional handling of customer questions was appalling to observe. Company employees actually mocked passengers at the counter, yelled at one passenger, and threatened to call the police when one person argued for a refund after finding out no shuttles were available for the afternoon. One customer service rep repeatedly stated she would cancel anyone’s trip if they kept asking questions about refunds, yet after repeated inquiries about refunds, the manager finally admitted that canceling within 24 hrs meant no refund. Therefore, as the company continued to sell tickets to people standing in line, to whom they could not actually provide services, they were simply canceling reserved trips and not providing refunds. This is completely unethical. In addition to refusing to provide refunds for their own failure to provide service, this company violated credit card rules by fully processing payments in advance for reservations it ultimately did not fulfill. There are several other transportation providers, many with little to no advertisement, that can provide services from the airport into Steamboat Springs. I recommend you inquire with any local hotel desk for more reliable and professional options from the...
