The guy told me they would offer me half of what the cards were selling for on line. He said he was only interested in baseball cards from the 50's & 60's and basketball cards from 1986 and 1987. I brought in a small box of cards (157) baseball, basketball & football from the 1950'-1990's. After looking through the box he was interested in all them and offered 40 bucks. I said no to that offer, and asked how much for the 1969 Topps Bob Gibson raw mint centered perfect, no crease. He offered .50 cents! There were 81 Michael Jordan cards from the 90's that sell easy couple bucks each. 1953 Topps Bobby Shantz hi# along with 3 other commons from 1953 Topps. 1969-70 Topps basketball (7) Archie Clark RC, Dick Barnett RC mint no creases, sharp corners. All the other baseball cards from the 60's & 70's were in mint condition and hall of fame players. The Michael Jordan cards alone at .50 cents a cards is 40 bucks alone. Be very cautious if you want to sell your collection to Grand Slam...

Read moreSeemed quite uninterested in even speaking to me when I arrived. Just a quick little flip and look at what I was curious to sell, "nope don't want it." Is it too much to ask that when someone enters your store for the first time that you say "hello! How can I help you today?" About the same standard of customer service as popeyes chicken. You own and run a sports collectables shop! Doesn't sound as miserable as you seem to wear it. After owners response Not a surprise you don't take responsibility and lay all blame on a customer you obviously don't remember. Like I said, just like Popeye's chicken. Good...
