Fantastic from start to finish!!!! I originally started off planning with just Bernadette a year before my wedding. At the request of my mother in law I asked Bernadette about adding on Joanna with a video package and because my budget was incredibly tight they were able to customise my wedding day. I was able to add on John as an extra photographer to shoot 1 hour at our welcome reception the day before and also an extra hour of photo the day of our wedding before having Joanna and video start a little later. I was super happy with this and it worked out perfectly!!!

I had booked another DJ for my wedding and had already paid the deposit but as my wedding date was nearing I just felt that my whole wedding would run smoother and be much more cohesive with DJ Jimmy. I was able to negotiate him into my wedding and ended up with the Family Affair Package!!!! Hands down best decision for a few reasons

They are each masters at their own craft! Lets start with John & Bernadette Definitely get 2 photographers as they are able to get the view of the bride and the groom at the same time!!

1. They really went to great lengths to make MY wedding vision a reality (so many locations, balloon props, family photos and fun poses I just had to have)
2. They are current and really in-tune with the latest trends and connected to social media! John and Bernadette shot both my welcome reception the day before and my wedding and on both occasions I had photos posted that night so I could share them with my family and friends that weren't able to make it
3. They gave great instructions during the shoot especially with the awkward poses that felt weird but came out looking so awesome!
4. She's an amazing seamstress/fixer! I ripped my dress at our first photo location and without missing a beat she had me pinned up and on our way!
5. Lastly they really exceeded my expectations and did such an amazing job of herding our "cats" all over the streets of Key West to make sure we got really fun and memorable photos!

1. Like a ninja!!! She's everywhere but without you even realising that she's there getting all those amazing moments that go by in the blink of an eye that day!

2. She was always there working with John & Bernadette the whole time and when we got our 5 minute teaser video we LOVED IT!!!!!! I've watched it a million times!

While I LOVE all my photos!!! I highly recommend every bride and groom add on Joanna with video!!! Photos show the beauty of your wedding day but video conveys so much more feeling, love and the overall fun and laughter that takes place and that is truly priceless!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!

When the big day came Jimmy was spot on and kept the energy up for our reception and kept our guests on the dance floor which is very hard with the majority of our wedding guests having 2 left feet! We danced the night away and I couldn't of been happier with my last minute change and the professionalism and energy he brought to our reception.

He also provided my uplighting which I highly recommend as it adds a great feel and atmosphere to the room!

BEST DECISION WE MADE!

Bernadette and John were AMAZING! They helped me plan my entire wedding remotely. I had a lot of grand ideas that Bernadette helped me realize, and she advised me when I had bad ideas (like things that would fly around the beach in the breeze or favors that would have been a waste of money).

I was very anxious because we don't live in Key West and weren't able to travel down for tastings or trials. I was sent many options for table decor, transportation, hotel options for our guests, bands, DJ's, florists, hair and makeup artists and so much more! Bernadette gave me her insights and then I made my decision. She is an EXPERT on Key West weddings and found ways for us to save money on food, transportation, and hotels- so we were able to spend more money on our band and other little touches we wanted.

Bernadette worked with our venue to make the cost per person lower for food, bargained to allow us to bring a bottle of sambucca (the venue wanted to charge a shot per guest), and hired two different trolley services so there were no wasted seats or costs. I also wanted to do a "signature drink" with prosecco and cotton candy, but the venue wanted to charge a ridiculous amount, so Bernadette and her team personally put some cotton candy on each glass of Champagne for the toasts. She truly went above and beyond to make our dreams come true within our budget!

There were so many times I felt overwhelmed because I couldn't see anything for myself, and Bernadette would answer my call and reassure me that she had everything under control and tell me all the things she had going on behind the scenes to make our vision come true.

We hired her husband, John, to be our photographer and having the two of them work together made the perfect team! Bernadette knew me and my style after spending a year planning together, so she was able to convey that to John and get some AWESOME shots!

Bernadette was always on the ball and I felt like I was her only bride even though she had weddings and other events just about every weekend.

Bernadette had done many many weddings at our ceremony and reception venues and gave me the best advice about set-up, transportation to and from the ceremony/reception, and table set-ups to withstand the ocean breeze.

Every vendor I talked to (florist, hair and makeup, equipment, etc. ) all RAVED about Bernadette and said they love working with her because she's so organized and has done so many Key West weddings.

I don’t even know where to begin! The Family Affair team was honestly amazing! Would recommend hiring them without question... you won't regret it!!!

I was hesitant about a full service planner in the beginning only because we had quite a bit of the vendors already figured out on our own, but planning long distance I knew we needed it for so much more! Having Bernadette and Irisha to help all along with the timeline and details was so worth it, especially once hurricane Ian hit FL right before the weekend of our wedding and we had to postpone two months… I don’t know what I would have done without their patience and help in getting things rebooked and reconfirmed. Bernadette was there every step providing her expertise about island weddings do’s and dont’s and suggestions for so many details to make the day flawless!

I definitely had a vision and might have been pretty specific on some of it but they were very receptive to what I wanted and took time to go through things with me; sometimes multiple times when I was being indecisive (sorry lol). In addition to the team leading up to our big day, Allison and Fernando were amazing for the day of. They showed up the evening before for our rehearsal and were so helpful in talking through how the day would go. Alison was a huge help in the morning getting things taken care of while we got ready, even down to having to secure a last minute change of plan for our cake cutting key lime pie… she arranged to have it picked up and taken to the venue without hesitation. They did a perfect job on the set up of both our beach ceremony and the design of the reception… from what I heard, Fernando spent extra time perfecting all the details too… they truly made our dream day come to life, it was better than I could have imagined! I definitely cried some happy tears when I walked in to see everything set up before guests arrived.
