Lunara Bay — Hotel in Stock Island

Thank you for sharing this beautiful comfortable home with us for our time in Key West. Also, thanks for making it so easy to communicate with you. Whether we had questions about the house or needed recommendations for activities, we just sent out a text and an answer came in just a few minutes. Our family party consisted of 4 couples, 2 teenage girls, and 4 rowdy boys under age 11. The boys really enjoyed hanging out in the bunk room. All of us enjoyed the family areas of the house and the pool, but it was so special for each couple to have their own private space, with bathroom, as well. Each family rented a car so there was room in the drive for 4 cars. Since parking in Key West is somewhat difficult and the house is 15 to 20 minutes from downtown we also Ubered several times when we wanted to have cocktails. We were able to have an Uber at our door in under 5 minutes. This house was a big splurge for our family but we enjoyed every minute of our time and created...

The property and the home are beautiful and well designed. The house is like new and the layout is perfect for a waterfront vacation home, with a great room overlooking the pool, dock, and water. Sliding doors fill the back wall and lead down to a nice private ool that has terraced steps for easy access for folks with limited mobility.

The four bedrooms are great and a full bath for each is so convenient. Beds are comfortable.

Fully furnished kitchen has everything you need to get the job done, and the large dining table seats 8. 6 more if you use the counter.

Go past the pool to the private dock and you can swim, snorkel, or fish (I caught a delicious Mangrove Snapper).

I think it's a super bargain for Key West, putting in a great location for all the best attractions...

We stayed at 12 Shoreline Road/Suncoast house. It's a pretty nice home and it is a good location (minus the air traffic noise). It has an amazing wrap-around porch with decent parking. Those were the pluses.

Minuses: The pool heater did not work the entire week we were there and the water temperaturewas maybe 75 degrees. We were told a part was on order but it never got fixed. The pool was practically unusable and that was a huge disappointment to us. We also noticed that the floor on the main level is mushy in spots like someone tried to go over it with new flooring and didn't fix the problem. It's also very skimpy on furnishings. We would not stay here again.
