Dove Salon — Local services in Stockbridge

I found Dove Salon on Tic Tok. Created a post it and saved the number. Six weeks later, I called and made an appointment. I spoke with the owner and she referred me to one of the stylist in the shop. I then went back to her website and read the bio's on all the stylist, called back 2 days later and asked if she could do my hair and without a fuss she said " ok not a problem. She recommended i come in so she could see the hair to determine what i was working with and ensure she had the available color i wanted. I went in and she checked my hair and said, i will see you tomorrow. Tomorow is today, August 21, 2024 and i just left the salon. Paytra did an excellent job with my hair while also teaching me about what i should and should not be doing. My hair is really damage and breaking in the middle and i was expecting a big cut, like so many stylists love doing, but instead she cut what was needed and said " we will grow this baby out" I am appreciative that i found a stylist that truly know what she is doing and her energy is amazing. Came to the owner peytra. , this is actually my 2nd time as well as the last. Service was ok but definitely not worth the price. She talks ALOT and gets involved in every conversation that is happening around the shop and should actually focus more . I think that is what keeps her from doing a better job than she does. I wanted color and you can clearly see places that were not colored. I wanted a cut and its very uneven after stating she needed to wet my hair before cutting to make sure it was uneven.

Update: Peytra thank you for your reply. I really didn't think you needed to wet my hair for a trim but that is what you said you needed to do. I was referred to this salon by a co-worker. From the moment I inquired it was nothing but responsive , professional, and friendly! My stylist was Giana, and she did such an amazing job ! She was extremely professional, polite , considerate, funny , knowledgeable, informative, and full of pleasant energy. The salon itself along with all the other staff I encountered was also full of good energy. When I say this is the epitome of an old school salon , I mean that .
