I really hate to go this route with a review but I CAN'T NEVER get anyone to answer the phone at the corporate office which is right here locally for me to address any issues. The store on Hwy 42 in Rex always having the wrong pricing on the shelves and when u take a picture of the yellow tag for an item on sale and show the cashier it never ring up that price. The cashier or manager says that the code is not set right at the register and still will not honor you the price that's on the tag and who problem is that? This is happening too much and looks like nothing is being done about it, I should not have to take a picture of a price tag, take it to the register and imagine if I'm shopping with several items now that's too much and just unacceptable. it's really embarrassing when the employees telling you that they was told there's a coding issue and leves the customer wondering will i be getting it for that price or not? The customer shouldn't have to suffer for that, it sounds like a Technical issue or someone from the corporate office that controls the prices should have that corrected. So if they don't care and feel not to address the issue then i guess i will address the issue by shopping elsewhere and I only live 2 minutes from the Rex store but will drive 5-10 minutes to a better location if that's what it takes. This is not a large corporation like the larger store not to say any names that covers around 100-200 stores, it's a small family business that should easily stay on top of...
Read moreI am giving this food depot 2-stars because of employee 806 Waali T. on 04/06/2025 at 9:13 p.m. In all of my years shopping at this grocery store I have never experienced disrespect like I did encountering him. I asked this young man if he could kindly place my cart back because I grabbed all of my grocery bags to keep from having to take a cart in the rain and to save myself some time and didn’t have any room to grab it myself. This disrespectful person told me “no” with a condescending tone and nasty look on his face. To add insult to injury he was sitting in the handicap electric chair playing and laughing with the female security officer thinking the incident was amusing. It’s sad that jobs are paying employees to play, be rude and disregard their customers. I asked him was it his job and he said it wasn’t his job with further disdain and rudeness. I told him it should be because he has time to sit down and play on carts meant for disabled customers. If he was rude to me I’m sure he has been rude to other customers. Some people don’t need to be front and center in aspects of customer service positions. With his attitude and demeanor he needs to be stuck in a cooler or well away from...
Read moreThey need more places further down the parking lanes for returned carts. Especially when it's raining, people leave carts all over and your car can easily be hit and scratched. Areas in the store that has example, Chinese food. They have the meals and soups but do not carry the chow mien noodles. They put prices wrong in places that show its to be less, when you get to the register. It's more, pricing can be deceiving. Never have enough lanes open for customers with full carts. Usually 2, maybe 3 open. So you could be standing in line for quite awhile. Most of the time you have to bag your own groceries when paying. Workers don't act like they want to be there. If something goes wrong with pricing not showing up, they can have attitudes. Everything seems like an aggravation to them. They are in no hurry at all to get your groceries rung up. Usually the express lane isn't open. Too many people, not...
