Urban Pub — Restaurant in Stockbridge

My first time in this bar I'd rate my experience 0/10. I came into the bar found a seat since I saw no host sat and waited maybe 15 mins still no server or anyone came to acknowledge us. I then went to bar ask bartender could they server over to my table and then stated table number waited another 15 mins. Servers walked to tables next to us beside us never came over or looked my way. Even two other tables pointed at us let the server know we hadn't been helped yet.. still no service ... I was literally appalled that we could've been ignored for so long then server comes over pull up a chair asking was we ready -- I decided I didn't want anything from The establishment I'll just watch the entertainment. I then ask why couldn't you come over and say you'd be with us shortly hello or anything then she replies we short staffed I can get you another time sever tho.. I watched server take care of other tables even take photos with customers. The principle is I want good customer service and acknowledgment. Why would I want to spend money in place where I don't get the service I'm looking to pay for. Let's be clear the biggest problem in restaurants is customer service. Always be kind and acknowledge your customers. Never leave anyone unattended even if your busy. Always remember...

Came tonight to have a drink and karaoke a bit because it's my favorite. I waited as expected patiently. I got the drink that I ordered and it wasn't in it's usual glass, despite me seeing that there were glasses on hand. She told me how much it was and never came back to get my payment, she serviced a young man who walked up next to me and a man who had just come in as well as a regular who was ready to cash out and still never acknowledged the fact that I was sitting there with my card outstretched and ready to pay. You would have thought that I was hitchhiking the way my arm was just sitting there waiting. My name got called for my song so I pushed the drink closer to the bar, mind you I never even took a sip of it and the paper was still on the straw. I sang and came back and the drink was gone. I asked the guy next to me and he told me that she threw it away. Women in the service industry have poor attitudes sometimes, it's really sad that men get top tier service and women fall by the waistline. All that I can do is pray for them. It’s Saturday & I decided to get out for a while. I heard about this spot reopening under new owners & there would be live entertainment tonight. I sat at the bar for quite some time before being acknowledged. After a couple bartenders completely ignored me, Tish spoke & asked if I wanted to order. I wasn’t a fan of the previous pub, so my expectations for this new place was low. Still, I wanted to give them a chance because we really need a good bar in the area for people of a certain age. The bar area is the focus point. Sadly, the Vibe on the other side of the counter is Bad Attitude, Unapproachable and I don’t want to be here. Ergo, 3 Stars instead of 5. It would be nice to see smiles coming from behind the bar, it means a lot to customers when they feel welcomed and are spending their money. It takes no effort to be Pleasant.
