7-Eleven — Local services in Stockton

7-Eleven is my go-to store for small things!!! Sometimes I get gas there, sometimes Backwoods, and even a quick snack or to use the ATM!!! This store is the definition of convenience, and it's not high priced!!!

They now have a convenient $1 table that they keep full of goodies!!!

Update on 9/22/24 This 7-11 has gone from 5 Star to a 3!!! This new management has hired a bunch of men who don't know what they're doing!!! Their Customer Service is horrible and they don't know the products in the store!!!

Yesterday, on 9/21, I visited the store two times!!! Early in the day, I grabbed my usual, two packs of Backwoods!!! When you buy two, they're $16.60, which is a $3 discount!!! I tell the new clerk I want to add $63.40 for gas!!! For some reason, the clerk cancels out my discount for the Woods and it comes to $83!!!

I asked him why he changed the price and he told me that was the price!!! I was confused as to what he was doing!!! I reiterated the price and that I come to this store every other day, and he was new and trying to pull a fast one on me!!! He just stared at me for a couple seconds and added the discount back on!!! 🤯🤯🤯 In addition to that, I paid for my gas inside the store and didn't know the reduced price for gas as a rewards member doesn't apply when you pay inside!!! This is the stupidest idea EVER and I'm sure most people don't know this!!!

Later that night, I visited the store again, because I ran out of Trail Mix!!! I grabbed two different bags and one being the Tropical Mix, which would not scan!!! The clerk tried three different times and then grabbed someone from the back who tried!!!

No one was successful at getting me a price, so the clerk entered $14.98!!! This blew my mind, as I asked him where he got that price from!!! He responded with, he didn't know and I stated there was no item in that entire row that cost that much!!! He proceeded to throw the Tropical Mix to the side and not give me a fair price!!! I was very livid, already tired, and couldn't believe what was going on!!!

I ended up leaving the store w/o what I drove there to get, all because the clerk was rude, obnoxious, and untrained for such a task!!!

I was happy to get a 7-Eleven in our area for the convenience of getting an Icee whenever I wanted but of course half the time you are disappointed due to malfunctioning machines. But what do you expect, it's a 7-Eleven. Being a newer store it does stay cleaner most times but again it's a 7-Eleven. However I do have a problem if overcharged for items and staff are incapable of providing a refund and tell me, I have to wait on a manager when you just rung me up without a manager. Workers don’t know what they’re doing. They gave me a hard time when I tried to order powerball tickets. I wanted $140 worth of tickets with 10 numbers on 1 ticket so that’s a total of 70 numbers and 7 tickets. The woman said “oh so you want a $10 ticket” and printed me 5 numbers on a ticket which is $10 worth of tickets. I told the woman that’s not what I wanted and she insisted that’s what I said. Then they printed me 5 numbers that were $140 worth and I said again that’s not what I wanted. I kept repeating to them what I wanted in different ways so they would understand but they didn’t know how to work the machine and instead they treated me like I was the problem.
