El Amigo Market — Local services in Stockton

One day, not that long ago, my best friend and I stopped by El Amigo Market to get some milk for our cereal. In order to pay for it, i had to use my debit card, my food card, and some change--needless to say, things were not good financially! To my disappointment, their system was unable to run 2 cards and take cash, so I had to put the milk back--which was tough to do as I hadn't eaten in a couple days. As I started my car there was a tap on my passenger window and the manager handed me the half gallon of milk with a knowing smile on his lips and said "Enjoy"!!! I broke down in tears and couldn't even say the words "Thank You". Two days later I was able to go back and pay him for the milk, but if not for him and his kind heart I would have been two more days hungry, so THANK YOU for caring and showing that there are still good people in...
