Bounce On Us Party Rental — Local services in Stoughton

Attending a birthday party for a family friend’s 3rd birthday, with the highlight of the party being a bouncy house rented from bounce on us party rental. We were waiting for the house to arrive as it was scheduled for 8am. As the time passed and the house didn’t arrive, multiple phone calls were made, in contact with someone who only identified himself as ‘owner’. We were informed that the house would be coming between 9 and 10. As these times passed, we made multiple attempts to reach the business line, all unanswered. We called from a different number and they answered, this time telling us that the house was on the highway end route and would arrive at 11, which, while three hours late, would still arrive and help to keep our promise to our toddlers of the incoming bouncy house. As 11 passed without the house, we contacted the business again to ask about an update and we’re greeted by ‘owner’ who was rude and using explicit language. In the course of his being verbally abusive to one of his customers, who was on the speaker phone thus allowing the children to hear the language as we were mid party just trying to receive our bouncy house, called our caller a ‘b**’ and frequently dropping f-bomb and that it wasn’t his responsibility to ensure the house arrives at any time and that the agreed upon reservation of 8 was not solid time and that they just had the time for the reservation not an actual delivery time. (Didn’t make sense to us either). I would definitely strive to stay away from them for my rental needs. Nobody deserves this kind of treatment, not only causing a 3 year old to miss her highlighted and long promised activity, but also swearing at a customer and providing no customer service.

We are extremely dissatisfied with our school's experience with Bounce on Us. All payments were paid in full ahead of time. The event started at 8am, and Bounce On Us staff did not arrive until 7:48am to begin setting up the Sports Arena & Dunk Tank. The Dunk Tank was inoperable until 9am and we thus had to completely amend our schoolwide schedule accordingly. The Sports Arena was set up backwards (with the opening for the bounce house facing the backwall of the school) and our school staff had to manually rearrange it so our scholars could enter the Sports Arena. Bounce On Us only connected 1 air pump to the bounce house and it continuously became detached and deflated (see pictures below). We had to outsource our own air pump (thanks to a staff member) and provide a second air pump to keep it from continuously deflating on scholars. Every 20-30 minutes our staff had to reinflate it using our own provided materials. The Dunk Tank only operated when someone hit the target with their hand. No matter the accuracy, aim or power of the provided balls hitting the target it did not release the seat. We will NEVER book with Bounce on Us again it created more stress than fun and was...

Ordered a combo bounce house/wet/dry slide for our daughters 3rd birthday to entertain the kids.

When they didn’t show up 2 hours after contracted time, we tried calling, no response.

Eventually I got hold of someone who said they were on their way and would be there before 11 (3 hours after contacted time, and 1 hours after the window they’d given us the night before).

When they didn’t show up by 11, my wife called again and they said they would be there at 12:30. Our party was scheduled to end at 1:00, so she said we wanted a refund. I was there, and my wife was very professional and courteous (not demanding or mean, just very clear that they had not fulfilled their end of the contract and the bounce house was going to arrive too late for our guests to use). The man on the phone refused to give his name and started swearing at her, calling her very nasty names. They went back and forth for a bit.

In an attempt to end the VERY hostile phone call, she asked, “what information do you need to give me my refund?” He told her nothing. She asked when we should expect it, he said 1-3 business days. My wife promptly hung up.
