Mannie and Kendra did not treat us like we were used to being treated by the chain stores, they treated us like part of their family. We had been researching and shopping around for the right place to renovate our 1998 style kitchen for months. We had shopped around at chain stores and requested quotes from contractors in the area. We felt like a number and a nuisance to all. Mannie understood our budget and designed a kitchen for me that was perfect. He assured me that he had partnerships with appliance, granite, and hardware companies. This was huge for us as I was so tired of researching on my own. He then informed us that because of these partnerships, the savings would be passed down to us. Riversedge Kitchen renovated my kitchen and he and his team did a spectacular job. They were always on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were extremely professional. Most importantly, he completed my new kitchen exactly as I had always dreamed of, with the exact quote he had given. I had an odd shaped kitchen to do a total remodel. Many vendors shied away from the job or out right refused to take it on. I met Mannie and he was the only one excited by the challenge. If that was not enough, I also challenged him to use ever last inch since this kitchen was smaller than my existing one. He listened to my concerns and help bring things in like kick-box to make use of the space under the cabinet. He also partnered on other innovative solutions to maximize space. He deals with Covered Bridge Cabinetry, they have a medium long lead time, but the quality is very good. As the project progressed, as issues came up Mannie worked with my contractor to come up with solutions. I now have a beautiful renovated kitchen. So pleased with his work I worked with him to replace the doors and repaint the kitchen in the house I am selling. He also raised my stove top exhaust which improved the kitchen presentation so much.

Not only does Mannie have good design skills, with him being a GC previously he knew all install gotchas and not only guided me on the kitchen renovation but other work as I was having done as well. He was a great resource to bounce ideas off of.

Finally, to say something about his character, when he has a big job, he donates some of the proceeds to charity. In my case he offered to order a new bathroom cabinet and install it for my Synagogue. His willingness to give back and share shows his character.

My home needed several finishing touches and knowing the quality of work and attention to detail that Mannie puts into his work, it was an easy decision to have him update my home. The first project he did was a beautiful tile backsplash in the kitchen which was completed within just a few days and it came out perfectly. It transformed the look of the sink and stove area tremendously. Then the entire house needed interior window and door trim. Not just the contractor grade detail, but a custom design that needed to be flexible to account for varying window and door sizes. It all blends nicely now and gives a comforting feeling to the home. I was amazed at all of the miter joints and special cuts that had to be done in achieving the end results. Mannie listened to what I had in mind and spent probably longer than he should have accommodating my ideas. In the end, Mannie would explain the realities of what I envisioned and in many cases I was convinced that Mannie's proposals were the better course to take. I'm glad I listened!! It's very hard to find a good all around builder and designer. Mannie can do it all. I'm very happy and will hire him again for more work...
