This review is in regards to the tire center. I reccomend to stay far away. I dropped my vehicle off Tuesday as a walk in and was told there was a 4 hour wait. That was fine I'll come back later. They never got to my car. No call on wednesday and they wouldnt pick up the phone. Thursday morning they told me we were next to be worked on, but then we heard nothing back and couldnt get through on the phone. We finally got through friday morning and were told we were 3rd in line.... strange since we were first yesterday. We heard nothing by 5pm and couldn't get through on the phones. I finally contacted corporate as 4 hours has turned into 4 days and they havent even looked at it to tell me if my issue is covered by my road hazard protection.
The lady at corporate contacts the store but isnt able to reach the service center either. She gets in touch with a store manager that has to physically walk down to the service center to see what's going on. The service center manager wouldnt even get on the phone and would only relay the information. He basically said that walk ins are a "we get to them when we get to them" situation and if I wanted to schedule an appointment they could get me in the first week of December. Im not sure how anyone is supposed to schedule an appointment since the desk refuses to answer the phone. Not to mention, why accept walk ins if they are just going to sit there since you dint have time for them. I was told when we purchased the roadside hazard that we would be a priority as a walk in, but it seems maybe they are just trying to scam people into purchasing extra protection that they will never be able to use. I cant uber and bum rides forever, at this point I could have just bought a whole new tire...
Read moreI had an appointment and after waiting 2 hours I found out they weren't in stock and they were waiting on a delivery which meant another 2-3 hours so I had them put the tires on and left, I spoke with the garage manager and he assured me they were there and had me come in to get my shocks installed and gave me a nice discount for my time wasted, don't let the guy at the counter tell you what you want to hear, make sure he checks to see if your parts actually in stock, another guy on another matter was very good behind the counter and was more customer friendly, looked more professional and took care of the situation, I looked at my friend and we were both thinking the one currently behind the counter should take lessons or retake whatever course there is for that position but that's the manager downfall if his employees are not trained or a proper fit, not sure why I trusted farm & fleet again but I had a tire pressure sensor fail on the driver front, I received a call telling me 3 are bad, I said just replace the one that's not showing anything, I get the car and they tell me they couldn't program it because of the other 2 bad ones which I know is false, I leave and driver front is working but the passenger front is not, I call the store manager to have the garage manager call when he's back from vacation Monday but no call back yet, whether they make it right or not my 30 years of going here are finished, they obviously need a complete rehaul and better training or better shop manager, something definitely needs to change or they should close the Sturtevant...
Read moreHad tires installed there. They gave me the run around, argued over the price of the tires I was quoted. I brought in a paper copy of the quote from the associate I had visited the day before. Then they called me at the end of the day to tell me the car was done, but they couldn't align my car as it's a volkswagen and it they didn't have the technology to align it and i had to take it elsewhere. Hard to belive they didn't have the technology to align a 2011 volkswagen. I will never have any vehicle service done there again. I've bought tires there before and I'll...
