A. Dodson's — Local services in Suffolk

I live in South Carolina. When my sisters from Midwest visited, they gifted me Nora Flemming dish with 3 different attachments. It was such a unique gift and I wanted to add different add on for different holidays So went on line and A. Dodson showed up. They had exactly what I wanted for great prices and the customer service is the best! This is the reason I try to support small businesses. They may be small but they sure have the big gift of caring about its customers. Thank you A....

I love this shop! I wish I would’ve lived here when my boy was little because the collection of Hape toys are wonderful! But they also had bunches of great gadgets and toys my 6 year old liked. Better yet were the delightful employees. In both stores I was greeted, asked if I needed any help, and treated politely even with my 6 year old boy in tow in the main boutique building (I know littles in a shop can sometimes raise thoughts of destruction 😁). When I was new to CoVA about 4 years ago, my go to unique shop was A. Dodson's on Colley Avenue and on Laskin's Road. I loved to purchase Uno de 50 jewelry especially when they're on sale! Both stores have since closed except for the Suffolk location. So even when it's a further trek for me to visit, it's still a treat to just walk around and see the unique items they carry. Service is wonderful, everyone greets you and asks if they can be of assistance. A must...
