If I could leave 0 stars I would. Purchased a 2011 GMC TERRAIN in Aug of 2021 in Decatur had issue from 2 days of having it. Made 8 to 10 trips to get it resolved. I was then sent to their Sullivan location for service. They kept it 5 months! While still making payments mind you, they wanted to "swap" me vehicles meaning starting a new loan for another 48 months losing my 2000 down payment and my 1800 in payments I had already invested. Said a 2012 JEEP COMPASS was the only other option. Having it less than a week had issues as well had to make another trip there upon leaving was told parts needed to be ordered. A week later the service manager Charlie told me they couldn't and wouldn't do ANYTHING else for me as they put 2 transmissions in it before I ever got it purchased. Definitely NOT the fauly of the customer. The sales manager Tate rude as ever agreed that its ok for me to be out if 4000 and it was none of my business if he would accept that type of treatment from a dealership. His boss Taylor did nothing but pass the buck to Linda who had no clue what was going on. Needlesstosay this family dealership sells high proced trash vehicles that comes from auctions as i was told that from the guy who delivered it to me because I live 2 hours away. Read more*Update I spoke to leadership and they took extra efforts to fix the issue and apologized profusely for the experience. I will certainly give them another chance. Mistakes happen, but to see a company step up after the mistake is what makes them successful. Great job guys.
Had an oil change yesterday because I had an 11 hour drive today, only to find that last night that oil was all over the back of the vehicle. I look down and oil is everywhere. The service center was closed so I left a message, but understandably they didn’t call. I had to buy my own oil to put in the next morning at a cost of $30 just to drive it to the shop first thing in the morning. Two hours later they had it fixed but I wasted a lot of time waiting. What do they do to apologize for the mistake? Offer a free oil change. Didn’t offer to clean up the oil at my house or reimburse me for the oil that I paid for. I bought our vehicle from there, but I’m concerned about buying another one from there with the way this was handled.
