Was in Pittsburgh visiting my daughter for fall and Halloween and drove back to Florida early November. I have been looking for some really good local honey, did a google search after stopping for fuel and found this amazing place. The owners daughter had a personality that was as beautiful as she was. I purchased $96 in honey and after tasting it, it was well worth it. Honey in grocery stores is so over processed, heated, and treated with chemicals that I only buy from local bee farmers that you know is selling the pure form straight from the hive, unpasteurized, and not heated. They had quite a bit in stock as well as some great looking local apples. Stop by, pick up some fresh honey and produce and pet the dog while you're there. @FreshStartMarketCo let the bee farmers know that the honey crop was excellent this year. You won't find that quality and taste in any grocery store....

Everybody was friendly and helpful. The veggies inside are definitely a reason to swing by, plus local honey, assorted jams and pickles, and various other food items you may not find other places. However the flowers are all definitely more expensive than just about everywhere else in town, and that was disappointing to me because he had a couple varieties that nobody else is carrying at the moment- and may not get at all. This little business is under new ownership and just getting started tho so I'll definitely be going back because it was a nice little place and I'm anxious to see what they do to compete with the others! Had a beautiful experience, we stopped to get a few flowers and pumpkins to spruce up the yard and found so much more. The owner was kind, knowledgeable and helpful with carrying out to the car. Answered all of my questions with a cheerful attitude and her store carried so much other items from local vendors. You can tell she takes pride in owning and operating in summersville, but loves to support others who do so. Here's a few lovely and affordable items available for sale if we didn't take the last ones. Will have many happy returns, so glad this business is so close to home.
