We had a 9:30 am appointment with Heather. It was our first time coming. I was told that she books multiple appointments at the same time and runs very behind. So I scheduled for her first appointment of the morning. By 10:15 she still hadn't arrived at the salon, but there were a total of five people at that time with 9:30 appointments with Heather. One was a cut with dye, threes were cut and set styles for a wedding and one was us a cut and deep conditioner treatment. Everyone in there said she is always very late, although she claims car trouble or traffic every time. They also said she overbooks every time slot. And you will absolutely be there several hours past your appointment time even just for a cut. I could see doing a quick cut while hair dye sets on the one woman, but the wedding party were all curls and updos, that is 100% hands on. So we left. Everyone in the waiting room said she is pretty skilled, but I don't care. I'm not waiting several hours past my appointment for a treatment and cut. I'll go elsewhere. I have no clue if she ever came. 45 mins past our appointment she was still not there. UPDATE..... Our friends that have been going to Heather for years have stopped going to her anymore as well. They went last week. They were there for 6 hours and their hair was destroyed. They know Heather fairly well and believe she is on something. Go...

Heather was able to fit me in for a color and cut to help my poor damaged hair look better and did a fantastic job! She listened to what I wanted and then gave it to me-EXACTLY as I asked, SO rare in a hair stylist! She also understood my inherent fear of new hair stylists and was great about it without being insulted at my hesitancy. And OMG the reasonable --cheaper than I've paid in YEARS-- price to get everything done! I was seriously expecting to pay double what I did and I wouldn't have thought twice about it since it would have been a standard rate for a color, cut, and blow dry!!! I'm SO glad I decided to come here and will definitely recommend the salon and especially Heather to anyone that needs a great hair transformation! To those that don't understand why they work off appointments here, it's so you aren't overpaying for girls to sit there for hours if they aren't busy but still value THEIR time. This place is awesome! I went there today for my 11am appointment, the salon was clean, the staff were friendly. My stylist was Ryan and he knew what he was doing! I had never gone to a real beauty salon and he was both understanding of what i wanted while also using his opinion / expertise to play around with my hair and make it a true personalized haircut. He took a lot of time and work on the cut. After he blow dried my hair he really went in depth with perfecting the cut. Between little details / texture and thinning out my hair then curling it for me! I have only ever had a standard haircut with maybe some long layer. This haircut was an incredible experience. I have been feeling not well the past few weeks due to migraines and this guy made me feel beautiful and so happy! I only plan to let Ryan cut / color / do anything to my hair.
