Rivas Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Nevada

A mexican friend of ours recommended Rivas for us to try. Said they serve really good food with a reasonable price. Well, price wise, it was okay. It was actually affordable. But, the food served to us, i'm really not impressed by it. With all the pop up taquerias all over the city, they should really step up their game or they'll end up losing their business. I'm not sure if it's just the location or if we came the wrong time but our the steak on the steak fries and the pastor meat on the pastor fries were old and not fresh. The meat were hard and dry. Then we had to also ask if they have anything for kids, they recommended chicken fingers... so when chicken fingers were served, they were actually not for kids since it's a big plate with 6 huge chicken fingers and fries. So my son ended up just eating one piece. When i checked the receipt, it was almost $12 which we then realized it's not a kids meal but a full meal for an adult. Which was not really necessary to order coz i could have just given my son some of my fries. What im trying to say is, if you're asked by customers what you have for kids, basically we're asking for kids menu. Otherwise, we can just order whatever we see on your screen. It was also partly our fault why i didnt check receipt before paying. But anyway, to continue, this location here is not really that pleasing to be at. Very few seating capacity and when we were there, we were the only customers despite being dinner time. Not coming back but hope...

Will never return due to Racist kid hating Cashier! Do you wanna get your food the right way? If it’s messed up, they WONT fix it and replace it guarantee. The only reason I am giving 1 star is so I can review or I’d give 0. The portions are smaller than any other Mexican restaurant in Vegas. The cashier is rude to everyone who was there while we waited for our food was racist towards our kids they are mixed but she said terrible little white kids I assume because I asked her VERY POLITELY (I thought it was a mistake no biggie) to replace my food that was made wrong and I wanted to return the food and I have my receipt (as you see) but she said no one is going to fix my food and she HUNG UP on me when I asked for her name (since there’s no one in charge except Monday) I was able to record her and my politeness in case something happened to my 3 yr old with a food allergy, and this woman intentionally ( I said intentional because of her attitude, racist remarks, and her not wanting to fix my order) did not remove something that could have killed my daughter. Good thing I checked before...

I'm a delivery driver but for some reasons the lady with a short hair in the morning shift always giving me a hard time picking up customers order...isn't that obvious that I have an insulated bag to pick up an order if you have an issue with the delivery drivers in the past do not include me , you're acting like you are our boss I don't work for you I work for Uber and customers whos ordering food in that restaurant...I even explain and showed her that there's no CONFIRM PICK UP ITS START DELIVERY...Drivers couldn't start the delivery inside the store coz once we do it a minute of late will get us a bad customer service feed back from the customers.. I don't know if SHE UNDERSTAND IT or I feel like SHES DESCRIMINATIMG ME Because I'm ASIAN...ONLY THAT LADY IN THE MORNING SHIFT is being difficult everytime she sees me...
