We'll...if you're looking for drugs or some of the worst bathroom facilities in all of Las Vegas then this is the place to go. No exaggeration...I once walked into the mens bathroom and saw a large man bending a small frail woman over the toilet and going to town.
So...it's been a good amount of time since since I wrote and left my initial post of winterwood Park. You really got to hand it to the Parks and recreation cuz they cleaned up the park rather nicely. There's not nearly the amount of trash left behind. One thing that has not changed is there still no doors on the bathroom stalls so when you first walk in you're surprised as you're staring at an individual sitting on the toilet. But all in all major improvements shows of Parks and recreation took it seriously and really made a difference so I will definitely now be returning...
Read moreWent there to practice some tennis. It's usually kept clean but I guess some drunks messed around and broke a giant bottle. Seemed like they tried to "fix" it by keeping the broken glass up against the net, but it's still there anyway...
Quiet while school's in session. A couple homeless persons, but we all need a place to cool down, right?
Has a small baseball field, playground, restroom + fountain water, trees near sidewalk provides nice shade for cars, trees on field provides shade for those looking to lay down on the grass, tennis court and a sand lot for exercising groups
Only downside is that the attractions might seem cramped of they're being used at once. Otherwise, generally a nice quiet park in...

Saw a female up on the playground with my 2 year old son, with her arm strapped and a needle in her hand... always trash all around and the playground is getting old and beat up. 1 slide is damaged and is just shut down instead of fixed. At least they just renewed the tennis court but it could use a ton more maintenance. No shade at the swings! But as long as I'm not all alone there I feel comfortable with my son. Not when it's abandoned and the homeless people are all around...
