I am thankful that Superior, NE has a Dollar General store. As a customer, though, I have seen it go downhill over the years. The store is dirty; floors always appear unswept. The store is not ADA accessible as required by law because their aisles are blocked by carts that stay there for long periods of time. Sometimes an entire aisle is blocked down one side, making it impossible for someone using a wheelchair or walker to shop. On my last visit I noticed that the emergency exit was half blocked with a cart and some kind of crates. When items fall off the shelves, they are not picked up from the floors. Displays which are supposed to look nice have fallen over and are strewn about. The greeting card shelves are half empty. Common kitchen items are out of stock. I have been in one GD store which was well-stocked, clean and neat, so I know it’s possible. Come on DG, get your act together! Our town deserves...

It was a loss when they lost Pamida and shopko. Idk this town is kinda going downhill. Houses being built That no one can afford. Except for people who can afford it. Renting a place in this town. Your getter off living with family these days. I’d love to not have to travel out of town to buy things. When I wish superior could provide more. But our town is a poverty town.
