Have To Have It! Thrift Shoppe — Local services in Surf City

This place is definitely a treasure hunt. It may look like organized clutter, but that’s half the fun—great finds are tucked into the chaos if you’re willing to dig. I’ve found decor pieces, small furniture, and even a practically new Instant Pot here.

Prices are solid, and they offer a rewards program—you earn store credit for every $100 you spend. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there’s a great beach decor section in the back plus lots of antique silver (tea sets, trays, cups, etc.).

That said, the store could really improve in cleanliness. There’s a noticeable amount of dust and mustiness, and I think they could be more selective with donations and toss a bit more than they keep. Still—if you like the thrill of the hunt, this is a fun place to play “I Spy” and score unique gems.

Have to Have it could also easily be renamed "Have To Go There". The ladies running this shop have become more than just a friendly face, they have become friends and seeing their smiles (almost daily) and hearing their laughter brings light to my lunch breaks!

In addition to the fantastic women working here, we can always find some new treasure for our home. We have spent the last month purging and bringing items to this shop for donations, and have been able to turn our house into our little dream home- for CHEAP!

We love it here and are so thankful our daily commutes send us past here 2-3...

I always leave this thrift store with at least one thing but today I bought super cute stuff to repurpose into decor for my bedroom! There are some things that I think are slightly overpriced but I would consider this a more “high end” thrift store so I don't mind purchasing whenever the product tends to be in better condition than Goodwill, for example....
