Swig — Local services in Surprise

Great new addition to Surprise. I love places like this and I was excited to come check them out on opening day. If you’re unfamiliar with Swig it is a beverage spot that specializes in dirty sodas, energy drinks, and refreshers (flavored water) as well as favorites like pretzel bites and cookies. Good news is you can go inside as well as utilize the drive thru. Since it was raining pretty hard today I opted for the drive thru. The lane is long so even though the line was pretty long I wasn’t left blocking traffic. There was a girl outside taking orders so it moved at a decent pace. We’ve only been to another Swig location a few times and had to look over the menu. After a recommendation I chose The Founder with Coke Zero while my son chose the Texas Tab which is a Dr Pepper based drink. It is a bit pricy, but if you have the app you can earn rewards toward free drinks. Service was great and though a bit overwhelmed they kept up with the pace well. Watch the time when you visit. If being a Diet Coke girly is a lifestyle (and it is), then SWIG is my church. One minute I’m ordering my usual, the next they’ve convinced me to try some wild combo that tastes like serotonin in a cup.

The flavor options?? Unhinged in the best way. Coconut, vanilla, raspberry, lime — basically every mood I’ve ever had can be ordered over ice.

Plus the staff?? Friendly, amazing, wonderful, precious angels on this earth. They hand you your drink like they’re passing over a sacred treasure. The vibe is immaculate, the energy is cheerful, and they make you feel like you’re their favorite customer even when the line is out the door.

This was are very first time ever going to Swig and my kids loved it. Very reasonably priced and so many options available. We will definitely be making this a usual treat. The girl taking our order was very courteous and helpful when we found out they didn’t have their seasonal items yet so she gave us some other great options.
