Central WV Outreach Center — Local services in Sutton

For those who might not know, this Church outreach is very unique. Its kind of like a non-profit Home Depot. You join as a member for a 10 dollar 'donation', volunteer some of your time, listen to some preaching and in exchange you can purchase (or 'donate') for home building supplies at insanely low prices. I don't mean like 10% off low prices on home remodeling, i mean like up to 95% off. I bought brand new wood cabinet facings for $3-5 a piece, for instance. I bought a roll of foil backed insulation so large it barely fit in my cargo van for $17. Small sink for $14.

They also have a small amount of food available for free, but I don't think that is their main focus.

The people are extremely friendly and helpful, even helping me measure and carry stuff, and spitball...

As someone who needed help I thought this place was an organization. Most things are donated, and then they also get donations and tax write offs. I went hoping they could help with some items I needed for repair and they wanted to sell me the stuff for more than retail cost after speaking to them on FB and explaining my situation, thinking they'd help me out, the guy said he had to at least make the money he back that he paid for a used toilet and some vinyl that he wanted $150 for. It's sad that they are using something that should be good to make a profit and line...

Good service good service and great people to work with but I wish you guys would change your website. It says that you’re open today and I come all the way down here from Webster Springs and you were closed so that needs to be updated and open when you are open and closed when you’re close...
