AutoZone Auto Parts — Local services in Sutton

This store is about an hour from my home. I was traveling and received a warning light that my tire was going flat on the interstate just before this store's exit. No repair shops were open. I quickly found Auto Zone, and I was losing over a pound of air per minute. I found my leak, and decided I would figure out how to plug the hole myself. I spoke with Tim, the manager, who initially suggested I could use Fix-a-Flat. I stated that I'd rather use a plug and I could buy an air compressor. Tim was a true lifesaver. He took me right to where the plug/repair kits were, and he loaned me an air compressor. Tim had no obligation to help me any further than this. However, he came outside with me and helped me with the whole process! I tried repeatedly to tip him, and he absolutely would not accept any cash from me. I'm not certain I could have repaired the tire on my own, as I have never done it... and I am not very mechanically inclined. Tim alleviated so much stress from me! I needed to get to the airport, and I was able to go from a completely flat tire, to a perfectly functional tire in under 20 minutes. I am so grateful that Tim was there, and that Auto Zone was there! I already like Auto Zone, and I am telling all my friends and family about how awesome of an experience I had at Auto Zone! Tim is an awesome asset to your company. Had I not asked his name, he would not have even told me. He sought no praise or financial gain. I've never met Tim before, but they have a very honorable man...

"Super Dave" I am a traveling eye doctor that drives over 1500 miles a week! My BMW X5 over heated and I was stuck & out of luck. I was able to prevent damaging the engine by very slowly and meticulously maneuvering the vehicle into this AutoZone parking lot. God's Grace led me to Dave who works at this location. A very calm, cool, and collected fella from the onset he candidly insisted that there isn't any actual mechanical failure with my vehicle. Unfortunately, to my dismay my car's engine remained overheated. He didn't get frustrated and continued to work with me off and on for hours as I advised him that I need to find other means of transportation. Without hesitation, he arranged a rental car, while we were waiting, he recommended local mechanic literally right down the street. The mechanic was able to tighten a couple of loose ends and my car finally cooled down (me too), and VOILA I was back on the road and able to attend to my patients 450 miles away. Dave accomplished all of this out of the kindness of his heart. ...

I called before hand and told them exactly what I needed so it wouldn't take all day when I arrived. I walk in the store and it's completely dead at 7pm. I browse for a few minutes until finally a manager pops up from the back and asks how he could help me. So after telling him my info he goes back in the back and comes out with several boxes. He starts to ring me up while I'm opening and inspecting parts. I notice right off the parts are all wrong and tell him my vehicle information. He then proceeds to tell me that I had told him the wrong information and blames me that the parts are all wrong. I started laughing. I couldn't help it. So while I'm laughing, I proceed to go over to the computer, pulling up the right vehicle info and part numbers. At 41 I'm starting to wish more and more for my own deserted island. I'm going out on a limb with 3 stars, but at least the parts have...
