Where do I begin? It started with our new residence, which came equipped with a Leviton Home Network system. Wanting to know how the system worked, as well as to make certain that it worked, I looked online for an authorized Leviton system dealer and found Link Your House. I contacted Nick for assistance and made an appointment for him to visit the house.

Nick is incredible!!! He was very knowledgeable about the inner workings of the system and had great ideas about how to improve it. Before he arrived, I sent him several pictures of the system. These pictures will serve as the BEFORE pictures. Let's just say, it was a mess!! The previous owner did not take care of the Leviton cabling and seemed to DIY-it. As you can see in the photos included in this review, what a difference between the BEFORE and AFTER of the structured media center!!!!

In addition, it turned out that Link Your House was also an authorized On-Q/Legrand audio dealer. In one of the photos, you will see the mess of cables coming out of the On-Q structured panel. Nick re-dressed the cabling, added an audio/visual equipment rack to house my home theater devices and addressed the multi-room audio capability in the basement.

What didn't go wrong. I am very disappointed on every level. Service, Quality of Service, and a bad attitude to boot. They were recommended to me as home theatre and sound experts and in my opinion they are neither. For 10k you would think it would be an excellent system. It isn't. Poor tinny sound quality on the main level, no depth, nothing. I have complained about this on more than one occasion and all they tell me is I need to spend more money and I did with the same poor results. They had to run wire from the main house to the Barn for the sound system and internet, now I'm having problems with the main house. Constantly being kicked off and rebooting the main house. I would have been better off buying a pocket radio than throwing away 10,000.00 Dollars on such a shabby system. I recommend that anyone who reads this find someone else. I failed to mention when they were running cable in the main house, they purposely ran a line across a closet door and the only way to enter the closet would be to unplug the line and shut down the barn. Amazing!! But everything is working fine now because I contacted the Geek Squad. I had a great experience with Link Your House. I recently purchased and renovated a new house and wanted to install a sound and media system for multiple rooms on my main floor and outdoor patio area. Nick and his team explained to me different options and designed/quoted me a system that met my needs and budget. The entire install (hardware and services) came in under budget and without a hitch. In addition to getting great sound/video results, the guys went out of their way to make sure everything was installed to our aesthetic liking (position of flat screens, hidden cables/boxes, etc.). Also, although part of my install couldn't be completed until after I finished the renovation of an outdoor deck, the guys were happy to come back 6 months later to complete the job and give me some additional troubleshooting help on some unrelated remote control/TV problems I was having at no extra charge.
