Wow, what a hidden gem in an unassuming plaza. When I first walked in, I could immediately tell the staff was attentive and welcoming because, even though they were all working in the kitchen, they still noticed that I walked in and greeted me. The space was clean, decorated with simple, homey décor. I was not sure what to get and was recommended to try their flavored latte. The staff mentioned that they make their lavender latte and mint latte themselves - I took it to mean that they used actual lavender and mint to make the drinks in-house. And wow, it was the best lavender iced latte I’ve had. The coffee aroma was nice and strong and the lavender flavor was not the fake floral syrup flavor that bigger chains use. I need to go back and try the mint latte next. A huge plus is that their bathroom was super clean and they even had a Poo-Pourri product inside.

As a first impression, this coffee shop did not have the fancy or modern furnishings other coffee shops in the area have, BUT the quality of their service and coffee really spoke for themselves and made this place stand out. BEST COFFEE IN THE AREA!! The owners are so sweet. We have been going weekly for over a year now. Everything that my wife and I have tried has been amazing- sandwiches, scones, tarts, other pastries, loaves of bread, teas,... and especially the coffee!! The coffee drinks are not too sweet, flavorings (if you like flavorings) are often made in house, and the coffee beans are roasted on site. I've never been left hunting for the coffee/espresso flavor in a beverage!! Perfect. It seems like every time we go that there is some kind of new offering. The owner is super creative and a very talented baker. It is obvious that she attempts to use higher quality, healthier ingredients. YES! Finally genuinely great coffee outside the perimeter! I usually have to drive into the city for coffee this good. Jay the owner/roastmaster really knows his stuff, you can taste his genuine passion in the coffee. When I told him I was learning to roast at home, Jay gave me great tips on how to improve my own techniques. And OMG...THAT WAFFLE! Made completely from scratch was incredible. I would have taken a picture of it but I ate it too fast.
