"On May 16, 2023, I purchased a supposedly brand new refrigerator from Recondtion Appliances, which was offered at a discounted price due to a dent and missing shelves. Additionally, I opted for delivery, installation, and removal services for both the new and old refrigerators. However, my experience with Recondition Appliances has been nothing short of disappointing. Shortly after the purchase, on April 18, 2024, my refrigerator started beeping, indicating a malfunction. When I contacted Recondition Appliance to report the issue, they informed me that I would be charged $75 for a technician to examine the refrigerator, excluding any repair costs. Frustrated by this additional charge, I decided to seek a second opinion. I contacted Midea and had one of their technicians inspect the refrigerator. To my dismay, they discovered tape residue on the shelves and foam remnants inside, indicating that the refrigerator was not new as advertised. Furthermore, upon closer inspection, the technician found tape on the motor and water line at the back of the refrigerator, confirming that it had been refurbished. When I raised these concerns with Recondition Appliance, I spoke with both Megan and Dustin on May 16. However, instead of addressing my valid complaints, they were dismissive and unhelpful. Despite being within my one-year warranty period, they showed no concern for the defective product they had sold me. I paid a total of $1050 for what I believed to be a new refrigerator, but it turns out I was misled and sold a refurbished unit. I had requested some of my money back or a replacement from Recondition Appliance to compensate for their deceptive practices and the inconvenience caused. Shockingly, when I made this request to Dustin, he callously responded, "You do what you have to do," before abruptly hanging up on me.

On December 31, 2021, I received the wrong washer and dryer. The washer was the right brand, but the one with the agitator. The dryer was not the match to the washer. They let me borrow the washer and dryer as "loaners" until the truck delivers what I paid for. At the end of June 2022, it will have been 6 months. I still haven't received what I ordered. I've even told them--I don't care what brand it is, as long as it doesn't have an agitator for the washer, and the dryer matches the washer, and comprarable to the $1000 already spent. I do not reccomend New Appliances. They are not professional. It has caused me more work to follow up with them, and get the washer and dryer I paid for. I'll keep you all posted on how long it takes.

I don't think anyone is deliberately screwing me over, but communication is a huge issue here. When the second repairman came out they had no idea a first had been here. That's a waste of everyones time and money. I was going to give 5 stars once I got repairs, but with how long I've had to wait thats no longer on the table. Still not a bad place to buy a used appliance if you have a bit of know how, but be cautious if you are buying something for grandma.

My wife and I purchased a Washer, Dryer and Refridgerator from here December 2020. Delivery and install went fine, but the next day when I tried to use the Dryer it did not work. I called it in and they told me repairs would be out in a week. No big deal. So I took some pliers to it and figured out a workaround for the meantime. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place and the people are the absolute worst! My fiance' bought a refrigerator from them. Within a week, my food on both the refrigerator side and the freezer side, started to un-thaw. The temperature for the freezer kept bouncing between 21- 35 degrees. Mind you, the recommended setting is for 0- 4 degrees for the freezer. We called them back, they said someone would be out. The day they were suppose to come out, they did not. I had to call them to see what was going on, and of course, an excuse. Mind you, initially, when the fridge was supposed to be delivered on a Tuesday, midday, I called, and was told "I don't know what happened, but I don't have you on the schedule for today." Then, when it was delivered two days later, it had a sticky note, saying the delivery day was for Tuesday. SMH! When the technician came out, I had to supply him with an outlet cord to do his job. Now what if I didn't have one, then what? Then, after he so called fixed it, within four days, the same thing happened again. My fiance called them back, and was told they were coming on a Wednesday. I work nights, so I stayed up so I wouldn't miss them. Well! They called, close to the evening, to say that the technician said they need to just w=swap the refrigerator out. My fiance took off work, went there and was told Friday, which was yesterday, that initially, it would be delivered Wednesday! Of course, he was not happy with that, because we've already had to deal with this thing. So then when they saw how displeased he was, they told him tomorrow, which is today. Well well well, they called him and told him NONE of the technicians or delivery guys showed up for work today. So they're closed on Sundays, and Monday is Memorial Day, so they'll be closed then, and I'm sure another excuse will be told for Tuesday, and the new fridge will probably be delivered on that Wednesday like they initially told him. I wouldn't send anyone to this place and I wish I would've read these reviews before my fiance went to this joke of a place! Highly...

I been in business for over 10yrs and I started going to them shortly right after that. They was located in a small building on Sherman Ave in Belleville in the service was pretty good! I bought a lot of used appliances and recommended them to all my coworkers, friends, passengers and family! When they relocate to this new location he put his nephew in charge! He was just as professional as his uncle at the time. Now these past years after the nephew left business became horrible! Family and friends been telling me their appliances was breaking down and serve wasn't good. I told them I never had an issue. 2yrs ago I found out they where correct. Under this new regime they have this lady name Michele running it in everything I purchased was broken!! Bought a new washer and dryer set and the washer sensor went out and they gave me a hard time because they didn't want to repair it.. I delt with it because it work if you constantly played with it. Last year in November I bought a knock knock black stainless refrigerator from them.. didn't realize the WHOLE deep freezer bucket was missing along with a few shelves.. they told me I paid for what I got... so I ended up paying over 400 to order those parts, shortly afterwards I realized it wasn't getting cold! After weeks of complaining they came out to repair it and so far it still working.. She told me she was going to give me a deal on a matching stove that she didn't!! This same stove she sold me ( dent and scratch bargain deal) found brand me from home depot!! At the same price!! This same stove haven't work since I bought it!! The top burners work but the oven doesn't heat!!waiting is is a brand new stove!! Been waiting two weeks so far and it's still not fixed!! It's VERY safe to say I'm never coming back or recommending them to ANYONE!! I FILLED A CLAIM to BBB, talked to my attorney and now this review. To...

They sold me a refrigerator that didn't work on 3/27. When I told them about it they sent someone out to fix it Wednesday (lie number 1) but there was more wrong with it... I had already been without a fridge for over a week and told them I didn't want to wait until the next Wednesday for him to fix a problem he didn't know would repair it... They said they would replace it and I could come and pick out the one I wanted.. I went to pick out another one on Friday and I asked if it worked and assured me it did (lie number 2) After three days of him lying telling me it was being delivered (lie number 3) I got frustrated... Called Monday and they told me something was wrong with the fridge I picked out Friday and the ice maker and water dispenser was not working (lie number 4)and said that they would send me pictures of some other ones that just came in on saturday (lie number 5)the fridges they sent me was not new arrivals and I had already seen them that Friday... Now they are telling me they have a reidgerator in another warehouse that they will be getting Tuesday morning and delivering that day to my house. So as you can see my kids have been with out getting proper meals and drinks for their well being. All because they are giving me the run around and lying. I still don't have a fridge and my kids are still hungry... Don't do business with these people they have bad business. They don't care about you predicament waiting on them to deliver you a product that is what you feel is worth the money you have already given them. I don't feel I should get a product just because it works I feel I should get something of quality that I originally went and picked out and paid my hard earned money for. Yes I am upset because my kids are hungry and I have to go without eating to make sure they are fed daily with fast food which is not a lifestyle...
